Asking for loyalty money at Jimmy's age can set a franchise back years. Look what happened to the Lakers after Kobe's $48M jobber. If winning a chip was truly his main priority, he could have backed off his number enough to bring in somebody else to at least give our Heat a decent shot at making the Eastern conference finals.
Since joining the league, Jimmy's made over $366M but apparently that wasn't enough. He wanted the full $113 million 2-year extension at the same time he's missed 25% of his games? Pat wasn't having it.
Yesssss,Duncan is a super cool guy, but he should be happy and more comfortable Jimmy is gone, when both players were on the floor you could see the pressure Jimmy always put on Duncan..I would say this the numbers Duncan has put all this years I mean records ..are just hall of famers' imprints..its fortunate Jimmy is gone..and thanks for the good games he played for the Miami heat…
