  1. The pace of play of a men’s Saturday beer league should never beat the pros, I’m sorry. Two professionals golfers… not two high handi-hackers… two capable, professional golfers taking just under 6 hours for a round is FAR BEYOND ridiculous.

  2. The avg golfer has no stress when playin… is doing 0 real course management compared to the pros. playing for 10 million dollars but yeah speed up 30 minutes so people are happy ok…ok..what ever. speed it up its only 10 million if you goof it.
    COOL STORY

  3. It is brutal. Here’s the major problem. The #1 player in the world is a slow player. If you don’t speed him up it’s going to be a big hill to climb. I’m not a Sheffler hater. His success speaks for itself but he has to speed up. When your in the final group as much as he is it makes it more challenging. Average golfers and fans won’t see why it’s important if you aren’t holding up the group behind you. However, it is a violation of the rules and you are affecting your player partner(s). I feel like it’s worse in the match play events.

  4. CANDER SHAUFFLEE needs to pick up pace along with many many others. So annoying just line up and hit the damn ball

  5. Watching on television i couldn't believe when i walked away for 20 min and they were only one hole further along. I know the conditions were tough out there but wow. Pick it up!

  6. Its not only on tour. If you get stuck in front of a foursome that wont let you pass, they act like they are tour pros playing for millions and take forever

  7. Look if you’ve got some other place to be Pepper than just say it. You can be replaced by someone who actually wants to be there. Quit whining shut up & just do your job 🙄

  8. Look….its the PGA tour, the wind was blowing 20mp, the rough is 4 inches deep 1 cm off the fairway, and the course is nearly 7,800 yards long at sea level. Its not going to be fast is it.

if you want to see something fast, why are you wathching or playing golf in the first place, which is inherently a long game?

  9. I shoot in the 115 range and can play a round in under four hours. With no one in front of me I can finish a round in 3.5 hours pretty easy.

  10. The pace of play has a lot to do it hitting balls in fairways and greens. If you hit in the rough then that definitely adds time to find the ball and come up with more strategy to hit a ball out of the rough. I don't see it as an issue because I am a slower player myself. I get to play golf a few times a week and I spend hours on the course. I don't want to rush through my golf rounds just to say that I finished fast. I love being in nature. Players should relax and enjoy more.
