Henry analyzes the goal of Lionel Messi against Malaga during the 2008-2009 season. He explains that in his eyes, that is the best goal that Messi has scored while Henry was at Barcelona, because it’s inconceivable to him as to how Messi scored that goal in the way that he did. As he explains, the goal simply defied logic and the level of technique shown is not normal.

  1. That’s why Messi is the goat. I am yet to see a player dribble the way he does. He takes 2-3 touches where anyone else would take 1 its insane

  2. Messi makes the almost impossible look so simple. He does things I would’ve never imagined to do. The GOAT.

  3. I play soccer, softball but basketball is my game. My coach and teammates asked me how I did that? I said, did what? I just did something instinctively. I believe Messi did the same. Its a split second reaction. Messi has the presence of mind. That shows he was on the ZONE. To others watching, it's something to be dazzled and amazed.

  4. The reason is simply because Messi at his height and stature has a centre of gravity that helps him control the ball at such speeds. He has always been consistently the smallest player on the field and it's hard to hip check him when he jets off

  5. First time I saw the goal on replay, I said "Ouch". How did he manage to that? Other player may got injured for trying to do what he did.

  6. That left-footed two touch at full speed is only possible if you’re so low to the ground like Messi. That’s why you’ll never see that from 99% of professionals. Truly unique gift that Messi.
