  1. There’s a better way to understand effortless power. It has to do with the relationship between the hips and the arms.

  2. Well, that's what Vic Braden taught in 1977. It was true then and it is still true.

  3. Your turn your body into a human catapult, so, the “power arm” has to be the longest possible to generate the highest momentum possible, it’s not rocket science, it’s physics 🤷🏻‍♂️…

  4. Inside-out swing path means shoulders rotation.
    Shoulders rotation means hip rotation.
Hip rotation means legs flexion and/or rotation.
In one sentence: turn around the ball, from footwork to hitting position to backswing to contact to foreswing to recovery.

  5. What I struggle with sometimes is being loose enough for all that lag. If I hit that my forehand would be so much better

  6. Thank you for explaining what "inside-out" forehand means, I hear it all the time but never understood what they're talking about

  7. Real pop is in the legs, and hitting the ball at the peak of its bounce…requires insane timing.

  8. If you notice he's damn far away from the ball… This takes loads of practice… In order to be comfortable with it

  9. You get power from the release of the wrist just prior to striking the ball. The racket head accelerates and catches up with the wrist and you get the whipping motion through the ball. The arm does internal rotation as well during this time. Look at slow motion Dimitrov forehand.

  10. Buenas a todos, para resumir, eso es "momentum angular"…..y luego esta el "momentum linear"…..es igual el momentum que utilices si tu tecnica es la adecuada, tus golpes seran potentes….es decir giro de hombros, etc etc….

  11. In this clip, his position is wrong wrt yo ball. He was little far from ball. We can see he lost balance at the end.

  12. If i swing with power the ball goes flying in the air… What am i doing wrong?
I dont want to homerun tennis balls anymore. help.

  13. to get power you need to dive into the ball with the all body, arm is relatively important as it just needs to be relaxed following the body path
