Godwin had an injury he's not "injury prone" starting 81% of his possible starts since becoming a starter in his third season. Recency bias strikes again, btw he was having a phenomenal year when he went down. Cooper Kupp is injury prone, give me Godwin.
It’s so true, tomlin has relied on talented players and rosters to lead him too that REGULAR SEASON stat. Poorly coached team for too long now.
If we get Cooper I want Stafford to get traded here with him, if we go that route. Get Tee Higgins and there we go, a high powered offense for another shot at the super bowl. It will take some contract restructuring to make that work.

I hate to say it being a big defensive side of the ball kinda guy but in today's league you're better off putting 65-70 % of your focus on the offensive side of the ball . It's an offensive league now and these defensive coaches are really struggling to compete. I mean hell there's guys playing linebacker who would've been safety's 10-12 years ago it's all different now. And we can have all the receivers in the world but until we get a QB who can play at an elite level consistently it's not gonna matter. Everyone screaming Fields is the answer but the kid outta Syracuse put almost the same numbers as Fields when they both played at Ohio State and at Syracuse this year he put up numbers way way better than Fields ever did at Ohio State and you guys are confidently calling that kid a solid back up so what does that make Fields? Fields also had a QBR in the 50s when Tomlin replaced him with Wilson and everyone acted like that was a big deal when any other team in the league would've pulled a QB playing with a QBR in the 50s because that's shows you even though you're winning it's not because of your QB with a 58.1 QBR on average.

He flirted with retirement till the team drafted Rudolph and he criticized that pick instead of building him up.
The offense and defense have never been balanced.

The team had its years where the players carried the team.
It is time for coaching to do their jobs and carry the new players till their ready.
