It seems this was the same as Iowa vs South Carolina. Caitlyn Clark missed most important shots and pushing the shots. Both made mistakes under pressure.. Kaleena is a force to be reckoned with in the future.

#1 for sierra canyon must get no respect from the team. She's wide open on a trap and they still don't throw her the ball. She was selling fr doe. How you the biggest player on the court and get stripped with the ball up high? I don't understand what game the Sierra Canyon coach was watching. Kaleena was not finishing well inside… run her off the line every time, or at least show a few doubles. They really let her fry that one guard for like half the game and pretty much just let the girl yack 3s whenever she wanted. This shouldn't have even been a close game. There were literally players on Ontario that hardly scored, but Sierra didn't even force the ball into those players' hands even like once.
I don't know how they let Kaleena fry them like that. She only had a right hand and only scored once off of it. All they needed to do was pressure her dribble so that she'd attack the space and get into the midrange then alternate sending up the help defense from time to time. Ontario's whole game plan was let her fry them from 3 and hope they double so she could pass out, but they never made any adjustment beyond just throwing a different player onto her.
Home team refs swayed this game.

Watched "kaleena" a few games now, mi like when she is penetrating and getting her team involved! Didn't really like di coaches decision tu RUN 'KALEENA OFF BALL", BECAUSE THOUGH IT FREES UP "KALEENA" shot, di offense doesn't run as smoothly when its not in her hands. running her off ball actually DOES NOT GET THE OTHER PLAYERS INVOLVED EARLY!
Also, as a coach speaking, mi thought "KALEENA SETTLE TOO MUCH FOR LONG JUMPERS!" Clearly yuh could see her legs were gased towards the end!
Next elevation for "KALEENA" game is she has to add a midi, floater inside di foul line when she beats defender off di dribble! SHE'S GOTTA ADD DAT TO HER BAG and mi believe she will! Although, mi know she can pley at di collegiate level at her size,mi really hope JAH BLESSES HER WIT LYKE 2-4 MORE iNCHES! It would just make di game even more easier for her.

They lowkey cheated Ontario on those last few calls. Especially that one 3, where kaleena "fouled", there were so many times they fouled kaleena, on the 3, and no calls were made. Overall good game, both her and jerzy are going to be so elite.

But since you put this on YouTube f;or the world to see (like me) it would have been good if you would have at least told us which team each of these girls were on and also maybe their numbers. As of now, eight minutes into the game, none of them are really standing out. More help please.
I still can't tell who the 'star' on the Sierra Canyon team was. I am assuming the little No. 10 guard on the Ontario Christian team was your "Steph". But, if you take an unbiased look at her play, you will notice that, basically, she lost the game for her team. When she tried to "take the game over" with about five minutes to go when they were down a couple of points, she shot and shot LONG threes and missed and missed and missed and they couldn't get the rebounds and SC went down and scored and increased their lead so OC couldn't make up the difference. The Coach should have called a time out and had a talk with her and told her to just run the offense like the did when they got the lead. Either bad coaching or a player who doesn't listen to her coach. Just and outsiders opinions.
Kaleena Smith was mostly at fault for this loss. Why launch a cluster of logo 3pt shots when you're down by 9 with over 2 minutes left? With her handles, she should be calling for screens to get inside to score (with the added benefit of possibly getting on the free throw line and stopping the clock)! SMH
