UPDATE: I can't believe I didn't know this after 2 years, but the sensors ARE removable in the grips. So you do not need to replace your entire grip if one happens to die. This is 1) Fantastic news. and 2) I apologize for not understanding this correctly!
Small concern is my bag. I have the Ogio silencer bag and the clubs lock in where the sensor would be. I’m worried they will break or fall off the club putting it in and pulling it out.
I like videos where it shows the product in use. This video does not do much.
I use my 8 iron for chipping and knock down 6 and 7 irons, I guess you can change the data to compensate 🤔
Well we finally know what Dwight did after retiring from Dunder Mifflin!
Can you use it in medals?
i want to subscribe, but I'm worried I'm going to want to buy everything…. most expensive subscription ever….?
I purchased something like this years ago and put the red sensors in my grips. Never used it once.
I love my arccos because I don’t have to think about my score while playing
I got some free sensors when I purchased a driver last year and it’s honestly awesome to have.
I thought this was a great video, but I have one question! Does the app give you tips on your swing, or does it just give you the things that you should work on (like you explained in the video)?
I don’t know if this is new information but if you buy a cobra club you get a free set of sensors but you do have to pay for the first year so about the same plus a new club
Does it allow you to keep score as well?
One of their first customers and absolutely love it.
Just cancelled my subscription even if I'm in mid-season and paid until September. It is decent, but nowhere near worth it,I'd give it a weak 2/5. you essentially have to edit every single hole, it doesn't just miss putts and chipshots which I could possibly accept, but it misses full driver shots from tee and long fairway shots aswell. You mentioned it records 98% of your shots, I find that hard to believe, surely it misses putts and chips way more than that. Estimated for me it hits around 70% of all shots which is just not good enough, I'm Using it with Apple Watch and phone in my pocket, still misses shots all the f-ing time…Also, the caddie function usually doesn't work, when you click it I get an error message, can't remember now what it says but the caddie doesn't work (and no it's not because I haven't played enough rounds). You mentioned the battery, have a Series 7, fully charged at first tee and it dies around hole 15-16. You also have to keep tightening the sensors constantly aswell, which is a downside to just how these sensors attach.
The stats you get after correcting every hole and review the round and your overall stats it looks good, but does it really give you any information you didn't already know? I was struggling with my short game, but I didn't need Arccos to tell me that, usually you know where you struggle, if it's the tee shots, fairway shots, approach, short game or putting, you would know where you struggle without paying for it. I love stats and tech so I'm not complaining about those features, they're rather nice, it's just not worth it due to all the issues I'm having with simply detecting shots.
If I have to go in and add and edit shots 18 times in a round the subscription is simply not even nearly worth it. It's a nice idea, but this simply doesn't work very well. As it is, I'd pay max 10 usd/ year if that.
I used this for over a year. As a high handicap it's not worth it. You need to have consistency in order for the caddie feature to make sense. I will sometimes use a P or 9 around the green versus a wedge and it messed up my averages. Not to mention if it's cart path only the system glitches if you're carry multiple clubs. Great product for the low HC players but not for everyone
Toot toot
But are they legal to have on the club in usga play ? I just bought the sensors to practice and get feedback without buying a launch monitor
Stuck between garmin s70, Z30 and ct10 or Apple Ultra, arccos and Z30. Which has the better AI Caddie?
Maybe I’m a super noob but why at 9:01 did he mention what hole you’re on? lol how does that come into club selection? I get par/ distance but doesn’t being the 7th hole matter?
Subscriptions are getting out of control. I was going to buy this until I found out (like everything in this world is becoming) you don't actually own it. No subscription, you just have useless microchips.
So I have just bought the sensors and the caddie. Just a little confused regarding the three ways to use the system. I see you can use the Apple Watch, caddie or your iPhone. Can you just use one of those during your round or can you use both or all three and will they sync to each other? Thanks.
This sold me on the product, just ordered it. Great review!
