  1. Stay the path, this is a young team and as long as they progress, all is good. Let's remember that sports' pundits were saying the Habs had no chance to make the playoffs, and the Habs have made some noise. This is the best young core I have seen since the 80s. Still, if there was a trade: Dvorak, Savard and Montembeault if there's a good offer. If Anderson and Gallagher wants a Stanley Cup chance, I would understand if they were traded.

  2. Trade , if possible Anderson, Dvorak, Armira, Savard. Enough of all this they need this mentorship. Everyone keeps saying they are learning together including the coach,so why the talk of this mentorship? As for Slafkovsky, don't look now but Wright has the same number of points with more goals.

  3. They went on a winning streak, then couldn't score for a bit. Laine has issues and it's affecting the vibe..there's more to spend on another player. Who doesn't want to play in MTL with what they have brewing. OK, so they might not win a Cup this year. It wasn't projected or expected. Nothing lost. However, it should be clear, by now, that they will need players of the type that can compliment what they have and play the 60-minute game…gamers. And they'll get them. Cheers! 🏒🥅🚨

  4. Do you really want this team to make the POs and get dummied in the first round and then get a mid round first round pick? Pass!!

  5. We can all speculate what we think should occur. However we have to wait until trade deadline or summer for anything major going on, Unless something is cooking now. Let's not get too high or too low, the Habs are getting to where they want to go. I have my hopes higher for next year. This year I'm just happy they can compete.

  6. Been negative on yesterday's win, because we didnt play well against the worse team. But i hope they turn a new page and i will still have hope.

  7. March 7th will be exciting i beleive we will be sellers
    Dvo, Savard, Armia, Evans
To make space for Beck, Kappanen, Demidov, Mailloux

  8. They got enough picks . Now they need to add the right players in trades. Demidov is in next year . Need a centre and one more defense. Goalies need to be better.

  9. Joshua Roy will play on the pk, replacing Armia?

D’Amico thinks Armia can be replaced with kapanen(center’, Roy who is a career AHLs and Davidson?

You can’t replace Armia , and the habs will never get the return Armia should be fetching .🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

If the habs lose their 2 hardest workers in Armia and Evans , two or if not the two best penalty killer in the league , imagine the regression next season , they’re already getting outshot 9 games outta 10 . Trading those guys means Suzuki plays on the pk next year , means Suzuki will be tired , trading those two will also expose gallgher and all other players next year

So you add a cancer like Patrick Laine , you already have a team of unidimensional lazy players and your some people solution is get rid of Armia and Jake Evans for 3rd rounders?. And then let Dvorak walk? 😂😂😂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

    Who’s gonna win face off?😂😂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

The only two players that should go is Laine and Gallagher , that’s 15 million right there . What makes more sense ? Gallagher and Laine or dvorak ,Evans , Armia and Savard for the same price?

And why are you guys so hot about your 2nd , 3rd or other picks? Because we were lucky one year and picked Hutson in the 2nd round?

Again Montreal have too many players , too many pro contracts , too many picks

But I hardly think that trading our good vets , vets that are healthy and will cost the team almost nothing , any teams or manager that lets go of Armia and Evans for mid picks and keeps Gallagher and Laine on the team is a moron

Fans praised Hugues when he made certain trades and I said every time , be humble and wait, there’s a reason great teams , with better gm than ours wants to trade those players or want some of our players

Sorry all the bias habs fans out there , but trading Romanov was a mistake , trading Lehkonen was a mistake , all of you are talking about 3rd rounder for Jake Evans but hugues traded a 1st and a 2nd for newhook , he paid 17.4 million and Harris to aquire disfunctional Laine and a 2nd rounder , he chose to trade kovacevik, all these moves are brutal

The focus and effort should be put into assembling packages to get gallgher and Laine outta Montreal, hugues always talk about selling high , well that’s as high as it’ll ever get for Laine and Gallgher

  10. Hughes is a smart man he wont deviate from the plan. We can never over react to winning or losing streaks. Lets hope flames miss playoffs and habs own pick is top 10.

  11. Not sure why anyone would want to trade Evans. At this point hes one of the best players. Hes grown with the team, and gotten to be a core piece. Totally defeats the whole rebuild theme
