  1. BR will be gone in the summer this is Peter Lawwell and the board once again poking their nose in where it’s not wanted there is no guarantee we will win the league now it’s disgusting and disgraceful

  2. Nicklinson is not the in the highest position at Celtic and I think Peter Awful overseas everything and is hands on all that goes on in Parkhead. Awful was even down to London, why is he so involved with transfers? He is the common denominator over all the poor transfer days.
Just as we are developing to the next level we shoot ourselves in the foot time after time because of an incompetent board always looking for money than investing and improving the team, especially when we have so much money in the bank. I wonder just who is profiting from the interest of that very healthy bank balance.

  3. Peter Lawwell needs to go along with the rest of the board. This has been going on for over 20 years not just this window. I wouldn’t be surprised if we lose the league. Please get this board out otherwise we are gonna lose Brendan again.

  4. Melly spot on imo . We keep on changing our recruitment teams constantly but nothing improves . Would doubt that we are constantly recruiting duds . You can identify all the players on earth but if the big decision makers don’t want to action deals due to our conservative financial approach then it’s pointless. We want to be a big club in every area apart from spending money .

  5. And in a parallel universe – Celtic sign a 6 – 8 million pound striker in January. Idah gets injured, and a player never having played for the team is starting against Bayern. Celtic then proceed to get pumped home & away.

Celtic podcasters in the aftermath: "What's the point in signing a back up striker at that price, who was likely not to play in a game we were never gonna win anyway. Now he's on the wage bill and we still need another top quality striker" 😂😂

That's my take from watching the constant revisionism across all Celtic podcasts.

  6. I remember when Ange was here and he was saying: "If you don't want to be here, you can leave." I always thought that was HIS philosophy, but I've now come to realise that is the mentality of the club, and it applies to managers as well as players. The club has no interest in accommodating anyone, even if it is for the better (i.e., having a good recruitment setup to keep top-class managers around or keeping our top young talents). The club is basically just a toxic partner every time there is any level of inconvenience, saying: "Well, if you don't love me anymore, we should just break up."

  7. Guys….I'm only surprised your all surprised!..we aim as a club to make a profit every single window it really is that simple
Kvistgaarden will cost even more in the summer that ship has obviously sailed

  8. I was under the impression that Rodgers was sworn in after Ange to take Celtic to another level. The league, in Brendan’s own words, is “bread and butter stuff.” Success and competitiveness in Europe was his goal. The club, on the other hand, has dragged its heels, this window has been a calamity, and they’re looking at the Bayern ties as nothing more than a cash grab for themselves. I am sick to death of them. Bar a few loyal Celtic das who “lived through the 90s, son” and blah blah yadda yadda, there’s a fundamental disconnect between what the fans want to see the club do (be the best it can be) and the club (let’s just hoard cash for rainy days like a bunch of pessimistic shitebags and our yearly bonuses). We should be going into Bayern game absolutely buzzing and even quite confident. Now most fans are utterly apathetic about it.

  9. What the 3 disallowed goals looked like was a guy using a big stage to get a move pushed through, lets be honest here

  10. A excellent transfer window Tierney an Jota in wow 🤯 Scloop in,
Two international strikers up front it's interesting that knvistgarrden never got signed by anyone ? I think 🤔 that tells it's own story,
Don't agree with signing third and fourth choice strikers it makes sense to wait until the summer.
Sometimes in life you don't get what you want ? Sometimes targets don't want to sign time to come back to reality.

  11. You forget that kyogo wanted to go. Simple.
Also, why should Celtic gift our hard earned UCL money to another club that adds 2M every time you give them a phone call for a striker who will be a substitute No 9 ?
You're just humping a negative. How would your video last if we had bought everyone?
    A short one…

  12. Just a quick Google and you get this definition of a ceo:

A Football Club CEO is the key decision-maker, responsible for the club's overall direction and success. They work closely with the board, management, and various departments to ensure that the club achieves its goals.

    FAIL!!!!

  13. You didn't discuss Brendan throwing Kyogo under the bus with the old " You don't know what I know about that player" nonsense. ALL the fault lies with the club. Rennes had no problem signing their top target in January window.

  14. The problem is that Rodgers has once again been shown the limits of what the club will or rather will not do for him. Managers and players want to develop and improve. Why should they stay at a club whose philosophy is stagnation? If Rodgers leaves this time, we deserve it. And if player who might would have stayed do the same, I won't blame them. What does it take for change? A club from the other side of the city winning the league?

  15. One thing you've not discussed is that the last two games against the huns they've scored six goals against us. Not signing a striker is cardinal sin. Very poor show and bad managing of the club ones again. Just typical celtic hierarchy, no ambition 😢😢😢

  16. funniest thing was lawwell taking rodgers out for dinner in london to make amends for not buying him a striker

  17. One failure too many. Completely agree. Idah was brought in as a backup striker, no 2 to Kyogo. Not replacing him is amateurish. Good spirit within the squad which is a plus but they need to spend some of that cash in the summer on some decent targets. Not bargain basement deals. Lawwell would peel an orange in his pocket, it seems.

  18. Lads I read on KDS that Lawwell was briefing journalists against Rodgers. Was on Graeme Speirs Podcasts apparently.

  19. Its ever decreasing circles.

    Players we can afford
Players who would make our squad/team better
Players who we have room for in squad
Clubs who are willing to sell said players
    Players who want to come

All above in a january window. No signing is better than a bad one

If it was a choice to sell kyogo and get jota or keep kyogo and not get jota i would have went for get jota.

    Transfer window out of 10
    Summer 9
Winter 6(would have been 4 if we hadnt recalled kenny)
winter business for summer/next season already 7 if we get a good striker and keepor replace taylor looking at another 9

  20. Absolutely spot on. It's as if Celtic are determined not to be too far ahead of their Old Firm rivals. That's the real business plan.
BR will leave in 18 months. Nothing surer. He is far too professional for this two bob outfit.

  21. Listened on audio to the episode & had to comment on how you brilliantly laid out the transfer windows, Nicholson etc.
    Facts they are brilliant.
Can put up with the awful Chazzy league patter etc 😉 whilst your throwing out a banger of a podcast as this was 🍀

  22. I’m not having that you’d rather have Kyogo than jota ans schlupp that’s a load of rubbish, Kyogo has been average at best this season he’s 30 y/o I don’t think it’s that much of a loss

  23. The happy clappers were right 😂 we await the pant wetters looking to jump back on board watch this space a bunch of doom merchants.

  24. Glad the board has the bottle not to listen to your nonsense and who don't sell the club down the river with your fantasy world.

  25. I dont think they were trying that hard to get a striker. It seems to me they were happy with replacing Kyogo with Jota. They did the essential business of bringing in a left back. Then they were done and dusted

  26. Brondby have supposedly put it out there that they wanted somewhere near 11 million for the striker. BR stated what he wanted and that board wouldnt part with 11 million to keep him onside. Lawwell Nicholson out!!

  27. this is basically just a criticise celtic podcast at this point all you's do is moan. unsubscribe. as for the id rather keep kyogo and buy jota comment what planet are you living on. kyogo isnt even in the same bracket as jota when it comes to footballing ability.

  28. Kyogo wanted to go so nothing could be done about that . Everyone has an opinion which of course is fine , what annoys me tho is there seems to be an element who ar writing to manufacture split between rodgers and the board .Brendan wanted a striker and others as we all did but lien he’s said himself the club tried but things didn’t materialise. It’s oh so simple for folk to say oh jsut give another club a few million over what the club thinks just to egt them but of course there would be an uproar by the same of that player was then useless.
In everything I’ve watched Brendan seemed quite understanding that they tried hard to get players. We have signed back Jota after making 25 mill on him, tierney too for summer and we got cover in at lb so in the summer we will need a LB if Taylor is going which seems he will , a striker and maybe a central defender and hopefully keep Kuhn but if not again the club can’t stop ppl who don’t want to be here and why would you want to . I really think there’s been a massive overreaction by some ppl.

  29. Carrying the can for not paying 5mil more than the targets were worth? Behave yourself we paid extra for Idah and everyone was up in arms the board can’t win,we are stronger now Jotas going to improve our forward line KTs back in the summer we have plenty to do the treble why all the greetin?
