His decision making matched to his sill and athleticism makes him elite. I wouldn't sell him for any amount of money.
Can't turn down ten minutes of waxing lyrical about Gravenberch ,we might be surprised about his position he's playing but Gravenberch has been rated as elite potential for a long time hence why Bayern had him .
We should got another number 6 this transfer window, let’s hope he does not get injured
Busquets with pace.
Gravenberch is probably the best all rounded midfielder since Gerrad
Saying its "incredible Bayern Munich didn't know what they had." 🤦🏻♀️
We didn't know what we had last season. Bench warmer and europa league games mostly….
When you said Alexander Arnold winning it back, I had a bit of a chuckle
Sometimes it takes a player a little bit of time to assimilate, bed in and adapt to a new club. He was adjusting last year and showing glimpses, in limited playing time, of the type of player he was. He cost £40m and is on a salary of £150k p/w. They knew what they were potentially getting and were willing to pay him. He’s probably worth £100m + now.
He’s definitely due a song.
100% Agree! Pure class
Love gravy he’s the man, but saying he’s a top 2 important player for us is wild..
Gravenberch has one of the better first touches in the league and he is very two footed. He bends his knees to get low when receiving ball or defending, so he can reach surprisingly quickly & far with his long legs. He reaches and then shapes his inside or outside of foot cleverly to first touch the ball pretty much anywhere he wants. Low with bent knees makes him very hard to outmuscle. Overall, he is the most dangerous player in the league to attempt to press, similar to a prime Zidane, and he often leaves one or two or even three opposition players for dead when they try to press him.
That is what I saw in him last season.
This season he has applied those talents to a No 6 role, and he makes all the hard things Slot asks of him look easy. He is ridiculous in the most wonderful way.
Defensively he is pretty good, with those long darting legs and good balance paired with strength. One thing that helps him is Slot demands that the whole team clog the central channel in the transition to defense. That makes Ryan's decision making much easier, so he has been able to fulfill his defensive role more than well enough.
Arne has found a crown jewel of a No. 6 in Ryan, literally a 150M value kind of player. This season he is the standout player in the midfield, for a club has one of the top 2 or 3 midfields in the league. The question this season is: Does any midfielder in the league compare to Ryan Gravenberch?
Dan wanted to sell him , Ibu and Diaz
The key for Grav is thr movement ahead of him. Hes always looking to play forward and many times theres no options ahead of him, so he has to play to the side.
Sky is the limit for him, and i think if we played through him a bit more and he has a bit more movement ahead of him, he will show himself to be one the best in the world in his position. YNWA
Ryan is pure class !! We're so blessed to have him in our team ….and besides his football skills …he's a lovely fellow…always got that charming smile on his dial ! 😊YNWA ❤
For a bit of perspective on how highly rated he was as a kid, he broke Clarence Seedorf's record for youngest Ajax player.
And Seedorf was once seen as the best teenage footballer on the planet (until a certain buck toothed Brazilian surpassed him).
It’s really a double pivot with Mac. They are both a great pairing in that engine room.
His game is breathtaking
Dutch guy here. Do you guys ever watch a game in Spain? Bellingham and Pedri I think are still better
A Throwback player with athleticism.
Best midfielder in the world this season….. by a country mile. Most interceptions, most pass into final third… always break lines by driving forward. And his passes…. And he had to cover another below par Trent. Boss
1 of the best technical dm out there
There was a lad on Redmen TV's pre-season previews who said "I want him gone, he's got no heart". Prick.
He need to be put in a 2 man pivot next season. Give him juventus pogba freedom. I swear he will brcome a balloon dor superstar
Let's just see and hope that he can continue this, like the other greats (Busquets, Gerrard, Lampard, Kroos etc)

What impress me the most is his consistency. Every single game he’s good. No bad games at all.
