  1. I'd say it does! Those sponsors seeing the reduced eyeballs on the telecasts will cause some changes so fast it'll make your head swim 🙂

  2. I feel like the whole pace of play issue is stupid. It started cause Dottie Pepper was very upset at the final group she had at the Farmers. Harris English had to play 18 holes of the most boring golf to win. Scottie Schieffler took 3-5 min to play 18 Sunday cause he hit his ball into the beach. A superstar can play slow but not everybody else.

  3. here is one thing i have not heard brought up. it takes longer to walk a 7800 yard course than it does a 7000 yard course. can the players make an effort to pull the trigger, absolutely, but its not simple problem to be solved. but 5 or 6 hour rounds should not be seen as the norm.

  4. I don’t get each group can’t keep up With the group ahead of them… it’s not hard every tee time in the country should.

  5. Watching the PGA on TV is like watching Dead People die. It takes (it=tournament) takes for ever. People walking around the green five minutes to take a putt. ONE player, looks and putts within 30 seconds. SS will wear a path around the green before putting. Look, if you don't know how to read a green, don't come out to play until one has pass a course on proper green reading. PGA= one minute per shot. no stroke in one minute, a one stroke penalty.

  6. Oh it's just DIALOGUE????? LMAO
    How about a serious penalty?????
It's so pathetic. Until the players literally get their paychecks shrunk, nobody will pick up the pace

  7. Talking about slow play at the WM event is the height of hypocrisy. The event is designed to favor slow play. Plus, the fans are trash.

  8. I dont see the big deal. I love watching golf weather at home or in person. To me the bigger problem is the cost of everything. Tickets, food, merchandise… Spending 10 hours at a tournament walking around watching different groups sounds great to me as long as I can afford to buy food and drinks throughout the day and maybe buy a hat or some type of memorabilia… But I cant. Too many variables in golf to put these guys on a shot clock, I think that would ruin the game. Grab a 7 iron with 10mph of helping wind and all of a sudden it changes to 20mph of hurt but you cant change clubs because you only have 10 seconds left on the shot clock ha! Sounds cheesy. Maybe tell them try to play a little faster but nothing drastic

  9. The actual pace of play is fine the big issue is commercials every two mjnutes during the broadcast. But if its that big of an issue allow the players to use range finders with slope during all comps to Eliminate long player caddie conversations. That we dont always get to hear.
