  1. I want Dodgers to get Paul Skenes, but I want pirates to fuckin give him the bobby witt contract too. Make him a pirate for life for those fans.

  2. RF Tucker(Cubs) CF Tatis(Padres) LF Acuna(Braves) 3B Chapman(Giants) SS Lindor(Mets) 2B Marte(Dbacks) 1B Harper(Phillies) C Contreras(Brewers) DH Elly(Reds) SP Skenes(Pirates) Alcantara(Marlins) Gore(Nats) CP Helsley(Cards). Rockies………lol

  3. Please just take a second to recognize that the athlete and talent level compared to athletes nowadays isn’t even close. I’m so tired of ppl bringing up Mantle’s WAR or Ruth’s WRC…Ryan Zimmerman would have been an all time great HOF’er back then….stop comparing eras….its not even close.

  4. The trading in the last draft was the best that segment has ever been. Please get Joey back for every episode

  5. Acuna OF(braves), Marte 2nd(Dbacks), Soto DH(Mets), Tatis OF (Padres), Harper 1B (Phils), Contreras C (Brew), Abrams SS (Nats), Chapman 3B (Giants), Doyle OF (Rocks)

Skenes (Pitt), Alcantara (MIA), Imanaga (Chi), Green (Cin)
    Hensley (StL)

  6. I'd focus on "Dodger Killer" players in the NL West….they aren't always the most elite but very effective. For example any of these guys…DBACKS: Brandon Pfaadt, Geraldo Perdomo, Kevin Ginkel, Pavin Smith, Gurriel, Carroll. ROCKIES: Anybody really…Victor Vodnik, Toglia & Tovar, Brenton Doyle, Nolan Jones, Ryan McMahon, Seth Halvorsen. GIANTS: Spencer Bivens, Landon Roup, Patrick Bailey, Tyler Fitzgerald, Heliot Ramos, Casey Schmitt, Jake Lam……Just kidding. PADRES: Tanner Sco…..NEVERMIND, Tatis, Jackson Merrill, Tom Cosgrove, Darvish, Robert Suarez, Jurickson Profar (traded) Bryan Hoeing, Michael King. Did I miss anybody?

  7. Brewers C William Contreras
    Nats 1B Brandon Lowe
    Dbacks 2B Ketel Marte
Reds SS Elly De la Cruz
    Giants 3B Matt Chapman
    Cubs RF Kyle Tucker
    Rocks CF Brenton Doyle
    Padres LF Fernando Tatis
    Mets DH Juan Soto

    Phillies Zack Wheeler
    Pirates Paul Skenes
    Braves Chris Sale
    Marlins Sandy Alcantara
    Cards Ryan Helsley

  8. Some context about Sasaki citing stability of the front office is that Friedman and Walter have job security like no other FO execs because Ohtani can opt out if either of them leave. It’s in his contract. It isn’t necessarily a diss to the Padres situation.

  11. When you compare what Willie Mays does in 13 seasons and say it took Hank Aaron 24 seasons to reach that…..fucking insane

  12. I wanted to use a true DH so that explains some of my picks here. My philosophy was also maximizing value for every team instead of punting on any given spot so there may have been a more valuable avenue.

    C – William Contreras (MIL)
    1B – Bryce Harper (PHI)
    2B – Ketel Marte (ARI)
    3B – Matt Chapman (SFG)
    SS – CJ Abrahams (WSN)

  13. hey gang, as a longtime dodger fan, it’s only fair if you guys assembler team from the whole major leagues by counting their salaries. Give me $300 million worth of salaries for the rest of major leagues and see how they compete. Keep the salary separate from pictures and position players.

  14. Why is the salary cap argument being represented as fans saying “the cap will de-incentivize players to sign with the dodgers?” That isnt the point of those arguing for a cap at all. The point is the dodgers will reach a point where they physically cannot continue to sign good players for a price they are willing to play for. What dallas said doesnt kill the argument for a cap at all whatsoever

  15. The other big difference between Durant and Sasaki is Durant had spent NINE YEARS on a rival team that had just choked a 3-1 Conference Finals lead to the Warriors, right before he joined. Sasaki has all of 4 years of pro experience on solidly mid-level team in a different country, and he's only 23. It's not comparable.

  16. In one season Dodgers go from “chokers” and “Mickey Mouse Ring!”

    To

“Let’s put all the best players in the league and see if they can beat the Dodgers”

    Lol

  17. Such a fun baseball exercise.
Trying to be fair as possible, no moving guys off positions/only using DH for guys who mainly DH or would benefit from the lack of defense this is my squad:

    SP 1- Wheeler (PHI)
    SP 2- Burnes (ARI)
    SP 3- Skenes (PIT)
    SP 4- Alcantara (MIA)
    CL- Helsley (STL)

    C- Contreras (MIL)
    1B- Olson (ATL)
    2B- Garcia Jr. (WSN)
    SS- De La Cruz (CIN)
    3B- Chapman (SFG)
    LF- Merrill (SDP)
    CF- Doyle (COL)
    RF- Tucker (CHC)
    DH- Soto (NYM)

  18. Skenes PIT, Alcantara MIA, Greene CIN, Imanaga CHI, Helsley STL, Contreras MIL, Harper PHI, Marte AZ, Abrams WAS Chapman SF, Acuna ATL, Doyle COL, Tatis SD, Soto NYM

  19. If the FO consistency is what really mattered then youd think the team with the longest tenured president would get a second interview.
Why are there so many justifications for Sasaki? He simply wanted to be in a good system, with less pressure than being a face, and some familiarity (of 7 Japanese players LAD now has 3).

  20. Personally I think
    C: Contreras
    1B: Olson
    2B: Marte
    3B: Chapman
    SS: Abrams
    LF:Tucker
    CF: Doyle
    RF: Tatis
    DH: Soto
    SP1: Wheeler
    SP2: Skenes
    SP3: Greene
    SP4: Alcantara
    BP: Helsley

  21. Rewatch Nationals Mitchell Parker’s debut versus the nationals and you can feel good picking him to beat the dodgers

  22. One missing piece of context for why Maury won MVP. Is he was more beloved by the fans every time he reached base the crowd would break into pandemonium screaming "GO, GO, GO" highly suggest you find footage of this on YouTube. This was one of the most electric times in Dodgers History. While Mays fatigue is real and he did not have as many supporters in SF (racist town)

  23. MVP segment was awesome, just finished reading a Hank Aaron Biography and going through the bref pages of the 50s and 60s confused me so much. Frank Robinsons season in 62’ deserved a mention
