  1. Let me say this clearly! For me, I'd prefer 210 in the fairway every time!!! Yes, I can hit it 230, but if it's in the crap……what's the point!!! In 30 years time, you'll understand, and become me!!! (Scary!!!) Great video! It says an awful lot! Golf isn't about strength and distance, certainly not at the amateur level. It's about restraint, and control! If the duck hooks have gone, for good, that's the win!!!!

    Good to see!!!!

  2. Buzzing to get my RS1X irons I got fitted for recently, amazing experience to get a really good fitting with a great service and a cracking brew!

  3. Travelled from Devon (via work) to see Alex for a fitting after seeing your video Simon. Absolute pleasure to meet Alex, he was spot on with his advice, so generous with his time and knowledge. Found out my clubs were around B9 so surprised I knew where the club face was at all😅 can’t wait to get my new irons and enjoy clubs custom built for me this season.

  4. Cracking content Alex is really good at making you think about what you want, I’m still waiting for my irons but as everyone is saying Alex always stays in touch and lets you know what’s happening.

  5. Simon. Outside the box thinking here. But would it make sense to warm up driver then turn the screen off then hit at it. Obviously it will still be measuring what you are hitting but you the player wouldn’t know. Maybe just mark a spot one the screen to aim for with tape. Then have in another room a screen that’s on to review the footage once it’s done. That way you can’t change your shot AT ALL while you are testing. Basically a double BLIND purely statistical standpoint. What do you think Simon?

  6. Im an amateur I cut 4” off my driver I dont hit the ball any shorter because I hit it better and straighter

  7. Great watching these fittings with Alex , like I said with iron offer pity he s so far away from me . Does he not fancy a trip North doing fittings 😂 🏌🏼‍♂️🏌🏼‍♂️🏌🏼‍♂️

  8. Fantastic to watch that ! as you mentioned there is no miracle cure but a good fitting will certainly boost your confidence and hopefully get rid of what ever your bad miss is 👍👍⛳⛳

  9. Had an amazing iron fit with Alex after your iron video. He nailed the shaft so blooming quickly. Brilliant bloke, brilliant product.

  10. Simon, I’ve been waiting for a taylormade sim 2 max to buy cheap on the usual places. Nothing of great value. Until, a ladies sim max 2 was posted for $150 aust. My quick research told me it’s the same head but in 12 degrees. Replace ladies shaft and kapow. A great driver for the intended purpose.

  11. Saw Alex for a fitting in December after your last video. A top bloke and an excellent, comprehensive fitting which taught me so much. Looking forward to receiving my new irons. This has made me tempted to return for a driver…

  12. My mate got fitted for orka worst decesion hes made he hated them and got rid quickly ..hes 2 hcap golfer just for info ….no other major fitter does what orka does precesion golf sggt golf pxg….i think orka are trying to be different for no reason …a lot of YT golfers have been fit at orka and dont play the irons must be a reason

  13. Dont agree with length argument…stats tell you 20 yds further down hole in the rough …you shoot lower scores …. Its a true stat …id twke the the 20yds down every fairway rough all day long golf is easier

  14. I decided in December i wanted to get into Golf and as a lefty found it hard to build a starter set of clubs. I decided just to buy an ex demo 7iron, callaway apex 21 dcb in a stiff graphite shaft, and practice at the range to get me swinging. The only other thing I purchased was a glove because of the blisters I was getting. My bro pointed out the deal Alex was offering and fortunately he had an LH RS10 CB head and accommodated me for a fitting in January. What a great experience! I found with my current 7iron with the light shaft it made the head feel very heavy. He put me into a KBS 105 stiff 1/2 inch longer and 1 degree flat. The club felt lighter, and even with a weaker loft I was getting avg 10mph ball speed faster, my spin was better and my carry was better than my original total. Even as a beginner, my dispersion improved, just with a change of equipment. I left with great advice on how to fill out the rest of my bag and I now cannot wait to pick up my irons. Now it’s down to me to invest in myself and improve my game!

  15. Had a great fitting for irons with Alex. Been hoping someone would do a video on the driver, great video. Might have to make another trip now 🤣

  16. Maybe it is too much to ask you about. But I really think a test of decathlon Inesis Irons, 100 and the 500, and also the drivers and woods. I think they are very good clubs and I have the older model of the 500 irons. And the 100, and 500 now are almost always sold out. And they are almost impossible to find in second hand.. Please please

  17. There has been studies done on low torque verses high torque shafts. The high the torque the less left it goes. Lower the torque and the hooks come in to play.
