Scottie’s trade value being less than 47 is OD
Could Pistons be interested in DeRozan. Obviously ik he's expensive, doesn't fit the timeline at all, and isn't a spacer, but they got a couple of shooters, and DeRozan could give Cade a break. I don't think it happens but
kyrie and a first when kyrie is better ???? You need help lil bro learn ball
Can’t trade Castle imo
Theres a problem with your trades, you’re sending too many guards to kings. Out of top 9 kings players 5 are guards. Kings desperately need bigs and wings. They will take good young guard, but only one.
With the Jalen Johnson injury, i'm just hoping Atlanta would give up Trae to the Spurs to get their picks back. I think Spurs should just wait for the deadline and see what Atlanta will do before buying in the Fox trade. Getting Trae for cheap is better than giving up a young core player for Fox.
Spurs not even gonna make a big trade. They not even playing for nothing this year, I don’t even believe they will make the play in
Jaylen Brown and two 2nds for Fox and Trey Lyles
This is surprising because Sacramento is kinda an elite team tbh
FOX FOR KELDON JOHNSON , TRE JONES & 4 1ST ROUND PICKS!!!!
Miami #2!? exciting news!
The most important thing when proposing trades, be it the management team or die hard fans is hope…. Hope of current success for sure, but more importantly is hope of the future and setting up future success. It's fun to speculate as a fan of the NBA and all it's intricacies, but what actually happens is way more complicated from an emotional perspective of each perspective owner… it's almost never as balanced as what we thunk should happen, that's why every year we're like "Holy crap, what are they thinking?!?!" That's the surprise element that's missing here, yeah these trades are logical from both teams, but NBA owners/GM's aren't always logical (i.e Beal/Poole/Ibaka/Biyombo/Mozgov/etc.)
Kings fan here. Fire video man. Stephon castle would be a great pickup. It’s gonna be the KINGS CASTLE!! 😂
If Fox somehow lands on Spurs
Wemby vs Chet will get revitalized
Spurs should wait for Fox in 2026 to retain Sochan and Castle
id throw atl in the mix to get trae in Sacramento
Fox is not worth more than Towns.
Players like Vassel can be found all around the league. He is solid but someone like Beasley can produce what Vassel does at 1/4th the cost. That is just one example. Vassel will be the crux of the trade along with 3 firsts. Maybe Tre Jones as well. Wesley can also be added.
Kings: Vassel, Jones, Wesley, Spurs 2025 1st, Spurs 2027 1st, Spurs 2028 1st, Spurs 2026 2nd via Jazz
Spurs: Lyles, Fox
To be honest, I feel Vassel + KJ + 4 first picks against Fox is too much, I would do 2 or 3 first rounders instead. The Hawks 2025 pick just took a lot of value with the announcement of Jalen Johnson being out until the end of the season.
There is no need for the Spurs to trade now. They are not going to be contenders this season even with Fox, and he will be a free agent in 2026. Time is on the Spurs side, waiting for the inter season to do a trade would let them see how much the players can develop, and see what they land in the 2025 draft.
San Antonio is not that deep for fox to make a difference. The only teams that make sense are Magic and Rockets. They have plenty of players and draft picks.
Why does it say LeBron by every player?
That not the way the poison pill works. You can trade the player now. It is their salary that is affected. Their outgoing matching salary is only their current actually salary, $6M or $12M etc those rookie scale salaries. BUT the incoming salary of the new team is the average of their actual salary this plus the annual salary across their new deal. So in your example using Jalen Green, Houston would be sending out his current salary of $12.4M in a trade. But in the trade, Sacramento would be showing an incoming salary of $29.4M (Jalen;s $12.4M current salary (1yr) plus his new $105.3M extension (3yrs), so $117.8M total salary divided by 4 total years, giving you $29.4M) . Making it VERY difficult to stay within the apron and cap parameters without the receiving team having a ton of just open cap space. A 3rd (or more) other team would be required in these deals when there is not significant cap space to absorb the difference and stay within the CBA parameters. But as far as being ALLOWED to be traded, they can be traded as soon as anyone else signing an extension from the date they sign it
If the Kings blow it up I'd love to see the Hawks go after Sabonis, they've got a few picks, young players and players with salaries to match. Him and Trae, with Johnson, Hunter, Daniels and Risacher around then, with Okongwu as a back up center would be a really good team, by far the best team in Trae's era.
Why trade castle if your the spurs yk fox wants to be on your team no need to repeat the melo trade and give up
To much for someone who will sign there next year
Matt can you explain a poison pill in a contract and the whole first apron and second apron teams? I’ve never heard of it until recently
Fox going to a team no one is talking aboit
As a mavs fan he’ll no I’m not giving up Kyrie for fox
There’s no universe where vassell, Sochan, or castle are included. Have you not seen the trades on the athletic. No core players are in this trade
Imagine okc decide they want him next to shai
Bro, did you just say Ingram is as close to a talent as fox??? WHEN TF HAS INGRAM EVER CARRIED A TEAM TO A 3 SEED AND THE BEST OFFENSIVE RANKING IN THE NBA?? Keep making draft videos man cause you clearly don’t watch the NBA😭
There is absolutely no way the Mavericks are trading Ky or Klay
I be happy with castle Barnes and Sohan and 2 first for fox
To be honest, Sacramento should just tank and do a mega sell. This is clearly not gonna work. Or a mega retool around one of the best rebounders in the league. Build like a 3pt squad around Sabonis.
Miami gets Fox/Huerter. Phx gets Butler. Kings get Beal/ 3 firsts from Phx and a first from Miami.
they will not trade castle. he's got all defense potential and the spurs have built a culture around defense first players.
Any deal for Fox with the Kings/Spurs is going to require Castle and some picks at a minimum at this point. Kings absolutely do not want more small guards or expensive contracts. They pretty much only value young players and draft picks if they aren’t getting a win now star for this season.
This is going to be like the Kings/Pacers trade, where both teams have to give up something good to get something back and both teams could potentially come out with better records at the end of the season.
Kings aren’t giving away a ring to Wemby for free when they have a peak/prime HoF Sabonis they want to contend with.
Can New Orleans be a third team in the Houston trade?
Dude ur normally pretty good at coverage but at the start of the vid u blatantly lie. Fox isn’t requesting a trade and doesn’t want out. Rich Paul suggested they trade him, if you think I’m delusional if he signs w any other team- 229M
Signs w kings and makes all NBA 345M
For over 100M’s why would he want to leave?
2:57 that aged poorly lol
