For the Lakers franchise 3 years from now, barring serious injury to Luka, excellent move. Considering the competition in the western conference now, if LeBron wants another ring before retirement with the Lakers, that goal just got a lot harder. Teams are going to score like white on rice again this Lakers D that just worsened, unless defensive moves are made by the trade deadline.
This team is now built to outscore opponents. That will not get you to the conference finals.
But for the long-term, to stay competitive and have a star for the next 8 years to build around, it was an excellent move.
