MICHIGAN — More than a dozen Michigan golf courses were ranked among the best in the nation, according to a new Golfweek ranking.
Golfweek says the ranking is determined by 800 raters around the world who continually evaluate courses and rate them based on specific criteria. Each person submits an overall rating (1-10) on the course they play, as well as resort costs and other amenities.
For the second straight year, the outlet ranked Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia as Michigan’s top course. Moreover, Michigan’s top seven is the same from its 2024 ranking.

Pebble Beach Resorts in California was the top-ranked course in the nation, while Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon came in at second. Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina moved into the third spot and Kohler Whistling Straits in Wisconsin took the fourth spot. Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (Bandon Trails) in Oregon rounded out the top five.
