  1. Yeah….they could have taken all the money they put into this product, put it in a huge pile and burned it and they would have gotten more for their investment. This is a failed idea – I don't care how neat the technology is, this will fail. Mark my words.

  2. So many haters in the comments. This system is awesome. This is the future of off season professional golf. This in no way will replace golfing on an actual course. It’s for the off season and to keep fans interested. This is awesome, and if you can’t see than then you’re just a hater.

  3. if TGL pushes to stay on regular ass old man TV broadcasting they are just shooting themselves in the foot.

Broadcast on twitch, get a deal with twitch to broadcast. As the game grows introduce chat intergation to let chat pick rules or challenges what it can be.

Ease of access to view, most TV have Apps now, and most TV's allow for screensharing

  4. Yes it is like LIV only not so good! No wonder Rory and Tiger opposed LIV when this idea was in the pipeline! Shame on them!

  5. Watching pros play a sim isn't really that exiting, but the simulator itself looks great. just the thought of real grass for a sim is a game changer.

  6. I don't know how much it's going to blow the mind….seems corny. I think its fake hype, like ppl are pretending to love it, for the sake it something different. Let's wait a few years and see.

  7. The only reason pros would get into this and back this is because they are lazy and dislike playing with real natural elements and with crowds and distractions

  8. Not only does the green rotate, but hydraulic jacks beneath the green amazingly CHANGE the contour and slope of the green for different putts.

  9. Is like LIV, but could be really fun, what i noticed.

    background being a warehouse.
Screens to make it better for viewing, couldnt get over looking at a wall.

sims in cities that change elevation.

Get the fans involved make it really different and fun/gamey verus real golf, its not real golf its on a sim inside. So make it fun.
    Ex
Draw a name, if closet to pin against a pro you win 50K.
    Fun lifelines,
    Ex:
make a fan hit the putt, them use different clubs etc.
    – could be neat, gameshow more but could also win money/up close to the pros.

Those are my pointers, could be cool but nothing will beat the scenery, sound of wind and birds

ut of the sand so make it more gameshowish.

  10. Just tiger and rory trying to boost their cash flows and lower some income taxes really. Capital gains are how the rich really avoid income taxes. Needed ways to spend their money without showing actual income this year or last. Hopefully in 5-10 yrs they sell it for profit and have planned ahead. Don't think it will fly since it limits where it's played and excludes a lot of competition.

  11. I really like the idea of having new and innovative courses. I saw one hole that had 3 lanes, the middle one going straight to the hole, but being harder to land it in there, as it was tighter and farther away, with the other two being more traditional doglegs. That's what I find most interesting about the TGL

  12. Stop trying to make TGL happen.. it's not going to happen….

Haha jk it's neat but will the ROI ever happen? Time will tell

  13. *Before i broke my arm & wrist, I use to play golf A LOT! I worked at a course… just for reference….

I'm not a massive fan of the PGA the display on TV, I watched the TGL last night for the first time, and I am pretty hooked.

  14. I’ve been watching golf all my life and this is a new way to see good players play without watching for 6 hours ! Can’t wait to see what happens as it goes on! Good work
