  1. i really want to be good enough to hit the 243. they played so well when i went for a fitting. might have to suck it up and try the jpx925 forged

  2. Did you guys play them in the standard lie setting? Mizuno tends to be rather flat in their lie and need to be bent up for most people.

  3. Not sure about in your high altitude, but here in Indiana when the 923 HL's came out they were the hottest iron around. Even higher swing speed players wanted them for the steep landing angle. Now other brands have some HL variant to compete with the 925 HL….but the Mizuno's are one of the most popular clubs around. Like the Srixon, extremely underrated.

  4. Yes the JPX line loft Jacks. BUT they still get the flight hight and angle of decent and spin from my older clubs. The only issue I have ever had is the occasional Nuke Flyer 20 yrds long. But I have a high swing speed (117-119 on driver)

  5. I had my heart set on picking up P790s, upgrade from stealth irons, but it seems like i should be taking a look at the JPX 925 forged. What do you guys think

  6. Gamed the 243’s last year. Switched to the Forged for this season. Don’t compromise any feel and gain loads of forgiveness. Part of me wants the S3’s so bad but gonna reward myself with them when I get down to scratch.

  7. Am off +2 but getting close to 50 years old. Have got a set of the forged in black coming to get a bit of distance back. They are superb!!

  8. Trevor with tour clubs is a different player 🤣🤣. He should try to game a tw set or a 241 set. 😂😂😂😂

  9. Hey guys,
As usual, great video and HUGE fan of your content. My question is: How would you compare the JPX 925 Forged vs. Wilson Dynapower Forged? I know you offer both.

  10. I am on my fourth set of Mizuno irons, the JPX-825. I went out last year to a Mizuno demo day – didn't hit any of them that much better than my current irons. That's how good their irons are…yeah, they tweak them a little, but overall, they last and perform great. I might be interested in trying the new JPX 925 forged that came out this year, but at those prices, I'll stick with my 825s. $200/club is way too pricey.

  11. Hey gents! I play the 921 forged! These are the best irons for me! Great forgiveness and accuracy, feel fantastic! I combo mine with the H/L 5 and 6 due to they are lofted the same as the forged. Looking to grab a 4 and 7 in the H/L to complete the perfect combo set for me and due to the fact the 8 thru gap are 1080 forged. I’m not a fan of the hollow body irons, just feel different to me. There are quite a few great irons out there but I’m just a Mizuno guy! Nothing feels like a Mizuno! Great jobs guys!

  12. I played the 243 all year last year and i like the feel better on the jpx925 forged. Its hard to explain but its just more satisfying than the 243 and with the added forgiveness with basically the same look down by the ball and in black. JUST WOW!

  13. I traded in my 8 year old JPX 900 Forged for the new 925 HL. At the fitting I hit the HL the best . Best descent angle of all the models. I thought I was going to like the 245’s the best, but descent angles were a lot less. Just could not beat the HL. Super excited to play them. I’m a 17 HC but shot a 77 last Sunday with the 900’s! HL’s will be awesome!

  14. Great video as always! However, i do disagree about good players not leaving 241 for S3. I think we will see a lot of switch into it

  15. Another banger of a review. Mizuno seems to have remembered their roots with S3. Can't wait for S4.

  16. WTH YOUTUBE,,,These guys spending their time and money to help make you money so why are you flying Dick sporting good Mizuno banners on their video. That’s not right. Very disrespectful. Do better, be better Youtube

  17. Mizunos are amazing. I got fitted recently. And I had 2 sessions, because there were so many irons to test for. First of all, after testing all major brands, i decided to end up with a Mizuno. Because they felt and performed the best for me. I tested the Mizunos you´d shown us in this video, except the 241s and s3s. For me the 245s were the way to go. The Scoring irons are amazing. And the longer irons are quite forgiving. And out of the middle, they feel kinda soft and powerful. Just an amazing feel and gorgeous looks. For me it was also important to work the ball, and I can do that very well with the 245s, (the offset is a little lower which also helped me personally). I found it harder with the jpx´s. 🙂 But in general I think it's important to test these, and get fitted. Because the shaft has a big impact as well. In my point of view, for the average golfer, depending on the personal needs, it comes down to the 925 HL, 925 Forged or the 245s. Great Video tho, really enjoyed it!

  18. Mizuno doesn’t make a blade, the 241 is a muscle back, the old jpx tour now s-3 is a cavity back

And the reason you’re hitting the pro irons better is probably the thin souls which on mats gives you a better strike if you have a steeper swing but on the course they’ll punish you vs a thicker soul

The last real blades out there are tigers p7tw and the p730’s which is almost the same iron and I think that’s it. Anything with a bump on the back is considered a muscle back

  19. Nice one, fellas- but can you really take out the only hollow body in the name of streamlining? You showed us two guys who have different opinions on hollow bodies, I think they’re weird but it’s ok if they offer one. Seems like 2 JPXs are enough though and I’ve been considering those, thanks

  20. I’m gaming the 923 pros but I tell everyone if your going to play the hot series the HL should be your first choice they will be going in my bag next
