There are always a few important factors you must consider before being able to choose a proper club from a fairway bunker…….how is the lie?…..how tall and how close am I to the lip of the bunker?….how far is my shot? The most important thing is to get the ball out of the bunker……and if the other factors are in your favor, you can choose a club to play for your target….whether that be a specific yardage up the fairway or the green. After the strategy is selected, make the proper fairway bunker set-up and execute a normal golf swing.
