The Belfry Hotel & Resort, home of the Betfred British Masters and four-time host to the Ryder Cup, is launching its own Classic Golf Day.
The internationally acclaimed golfing destination is poised to deliver a tournament like no other, with esteemed sports presenter, and award-winning journalist and broadcaster, Dan Walker to host the invite-only event.
Taking place on May 22, the tournament will be held on The Belfry’s, The Brabazon golf course.
The course, which was recently crowned ‘England’s Best Golf Course 2024’ at the industry-leading World Golf Awards, has produced some of the most dramatic moments in the sport’s history.
The Brabazon, which has tested golf legends like Seve Ballesteros, will host top sports and entertainment stars in the first-ever Belfry Classic Golf Day.
Chris Eigelaar, resort director, said: “With a fantastic lineup of players, an iconic course, and a reputation that precedes us when it comes to hosting prestigious tournaments, the day is sure to become the event of the golfing calendar.”
Eigelaar added: “We’d also like to thank the event’s incredible sponsors, Elliott Group and Turkish Airlines, who have been instrumental in ensuring the first-ever Belfry Classic Golf Day will be a tournament to remember.”
Proceeds from the inaugural Belfry Classic Golf Day will go towards two of the resort’s partner charities – the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and Hospitality Action.
