Guys mid round interviews are useless and not entertaining in the least. Now that I have at least very good players who are entertaining to watch on YouTube daily and LIV golf I can't go back to PGA Tour broadcasts anymore. I was obsessed with the PGA Tour for over 40 years but the slow play, commercials, constant yaking, overproduction is terrible to watch. I want to see golf shots and not constant scenery, players walking down the fairway, playing through etc etc. I tried to watch the first 6 holes of the final round today at Torrey Pines and it was pure torture…
What's entertaining is seeing the best players in the world compete against each other for massive purses. It's not complicated.
Golf is also an inherently boring sport to watch, but it's so much fun to play. You boost your ratings by getting people hooked on playing. Once that happens, they will tune in.
Constantly tinkering with broadcast and format comes off as desperate and isn't going to attract anyone.
This is all bunk. We need 1 thing: Tournaments that matter featuring the best in the world.
Telling me an event is "elevated" means jack when we all know only the Majors matter.
They just need to say LIV is doing some things better than them. That’s the reality; they have players with personality and explore new ideas. The PGA does nothing different and is just “white guys” as you said.

Good golf is entertaining enough. They are not playing good golf. FFS, it took the last pairing at the Farmers 5:30 to finish a round. Unacceptable! They shrink the size of the field to help pace of play? What a joke. Baseball fixed pace of play, the PGA has to do the same.
If you fall out of position:
1) warning
2) stroke penalty
3) DQ
No one needs 2-3 minutes to hit a shot. Start penalizing slow play. I can’t watch PGA on TV anymore. There’s too much good and entertaining golf on YouTube. Let me know when they fix themselves, maybe I’ll watch again.

I swear to God if the sport moves more towards the terrible Waste Management frat boy golf and away from respectable Masters golf, I'm going to flip my shit.
The PGA Tour trying absolutely nothing to please fans is really bad. The fans want quicker play, less commercials, iconic venues, and tiger in his 20’s. The fact that screen golf out rates them in ratings is scary. No one’s watching and their doing nothing.
