Welcome to episode 31 of the DSPN – Devlin Sports Podcast Network…
– Justin Marshall – former All Blacks halfback – joins the show to talk Super Rugby Pacific preseason, and the Six Nations kicking off in a matter of days. Marshall also offers predictions on possible All Blacks bolters for 2025, and more.
– Young producer Lachlan Waugh is back, and he along with Marty play a game of What Has More Chance Of Happening. Today’s segment has a distinct Warriors flavour to it.
– Marc McGowan from The Age in Melbourne recaps both singles finals at the 2025 Australian Open. How much better can Jannik Sinner get? He already has three Grand Slams at the age of 23, and is fast-becoming the king of hard courts.
– Matt Gunn out of Twizel dials in as he does every Tuesday, putting a positive spin on the Breakers’ NBL season, rugby sevens, and the Big Bash League final.
All that and much more!

Shut up with AFL – yank crap!
Loved when the ABs came to Hawkes Bay and helped with Cyclone Gabriel. We had a Hurricanes pre season training once since. Would be nice to have a home game in Napier 🙌
I think Papali'i, Sotutu and Lakai are in the best positions to take advantage should Sititi not be available through injury. For the 12 jersey, I think Riley Higgins can make a big leap this season.
Roigaard to play 10 this year and take the canes to the final 😮
Glad that Justin mentioned Thomas Umaga-Jensen. Best number 12 in the country.
Hello Marty: Justin. Always a pleasure to tune in and listen to some proper evaluation and news. Justin really understands the 6Ns, with our fierce Celts vs Ango-Saxon and inter-Celt tribal rivalries; what it is Really all about, with the four home unions and the Gauls (France): top man. Looks like the penny has finally dropped for the English! They've a Cap'n who can go the full 80+ some. A Cap'n must be with his men at all times, unless he gets clattered-out and goes off injured, imo. France and the English are our biggest concern, with our Scottish cousins ready to trap us in a "Glen of our own making". Chons da, Si and the men in Emerald Green. And ffsks men, no more knock-ons records from yous! 🏴☠☘ God bless New Zealand 👍

7's tickets were too expensive for many of my friends in Perth. I follow the 7's every round of the annual circuit, due to the qualiy of the rugby played, I love it!
WLECOME BACK AWSOME SHOW
Marshys commentary has come a long way but his analysis has always been top notch. Lakai didn't take the step because he didn't get given the chance, but this is his year to take a big step for sure, hopefully razor has the guts to give him his shot. Great to hear someone finally give the canes loosies some credit for last year! It's hard when the canes are constantly ignored by the scribes in this country. Riley Higgins is another with a lot of potential and a big year ahead. Lovin it Marty
