Does strength from the gym translate to calisthenics?

What about mobility and body control?

  1. Interesting, you take the art and the sport of gymnastics and dissect it into mini parts, like calisthenics, contortion, acrobatic moves, power moves, air acrobatics….. Calisthenics is just one part of the gymnastics. At least that's how it is in Russia.

  2. Calisthenics bro needs to now do more for his skin by covering up or using more sunscreen. No sense in being strong if your skin is leather or, heaven forbid, you get skin cancer

  3. The best is when you go upside down and the sand on your feet flies into your eyes. Such a great feeling, intense lubrication and a rush of feeling great as you and the sand granules become one.

  5. For all the people who don't actually work out and do calisthenics let me set the record straight. If you don't do calisthenics you're not going to be able to do a muscle up the way he did it! In other words he would not be able to do that if he's never done that before and it doesn't take any experiments to know that

  6. You actually may not be on roids (it's debatable) That dude, at 40, for sure is. At 36 no gear, i can keep lean and pretty shredded. Adding that much muscle at this point would be tough nearly impossible without gear

  7. Gym strenght vs real strenght .
    Huge difference.
    Muscle density,bone ,joints, jointe mobilty..its 1000 years apart

  8. calisthenics reallyy train and strenghten your joints and muscle overall. not only in specific area where you only weight lift. body weight minimum itself is from 60 up to 70kg. so calisthenics has to deal that amount of weight

  9. I'm 42 and for your friend doing bodybuilding is doing amazingly well on human flag and muscles up ! Well done 👏🏻 🔥🔥🔥💯

  10. Calisthenics looks so cool. I just wish it wasn’t so esoteric and more accessible. Like someone should do for calisthenics what that fat guy Glassman did for CrossFit.
