The EASIEST To Hit Golf Club PING Have Ever Made – MUST TRY?

  1. My new secret weapon on the golf course this winter is a hip flask with jack Daniels honey on the 5th and 10th tee game changer 😂

  2. If you had every type of club available then you’ll have about 18 in total; 5 wood, 7 wood, driving iron, chipper et al

  3. Been gaming a 7 wood for 2 years (cobra LTDx) and absolutely love it. Just did a fitting session and did upgrade the shaft but it now fits well with my new irons. Takes the place of a 3/4 iron and much easier to hit. This Ping does look very nice and looks to produce great numbers. Great video James! (Also great filming Bobby!)

  4. Love my g430 sft 7 wood. Best club in my bag, don’t think I could ever part from it. eBay steal for 135$ couldn’t pass it up lol

  5. When I was younger the Heaven Wood was 21°
I feel 7 Wood vs hybrid comes down to comfort level…so feel more confident hitting a 7 Wood or hybrid from sh!tty more?

  6. What about the price of the LST ping g440 3 wood? Is it not insane how they priced it. I mean, it's hardly any different from the max head, and it's 225 dollars more. How can Ping justify 575 dollars for a 3 wood?

  7. The bloody LS version is 529 of your finest pounds ….James explain FFS 😂😂😂😂😂😂 ludicrous price

  8. I still use my original Tight Lies 7 wood! It’s a great club. I still remember buying it off some late night infomercial that they used to sell the Tight Lies clubs on when they first came out.
I could put a new shaft in that thing and it would last me another 20 years probably…🤷🏻‍♂️😅

  9. I play the g430 7wood and love it. I have it 1degree strong in the flat setting. I can hit it high or low and it goes very straight. It will be in my bag for a long time.

  10. I have the g430 7 wood & I’ve found it hit it better if more forward in my stance? I always thot it was meant to b back in the stance? Anyways it prob goes as high as it does far 😝

  11. Everyone can benefit from a 7 wood. When I was in college we made fun of them which shows our ignorance back then.

  12. Why would u want to hit 7 wood lower when u cannot a just the head in comp a 7 wood is ment to get the ball airborne. If you want to hit lower use a 3 or 5 wood

  13. Yes I play the Ping G425 7 wood and the G430 9 wood both lovely clubs no 4 and 5 irons works like a dream! 78 years old 16 handicap!!!!!!~~

  14. I love the seeing the testing at various degrees . Ping woods are great for that . Unfortunately they don't come cheap . One of the most expensive woods on market

  15. I now play a 7wood st 24 degrees and a 5 wood at 20. For my old, arthritic swing I get the most consistency this way. Like you often say, it's not the distance that matters, it's the consistency and ease of use that makes it more fun.

  16. If I'm playing in strong wind, I'm swapping out the 7 wood for a 3 hybrid (muuuuch easier to flight down)…right tool for the right job

  17. Best purchase ever my Cobra F9 7 Wood never been used, stiff shaft £130 purchased in 2024, absolutely changed my game. Adjustable, fade / Draw shots with a milled face and so versatile. My point here, technology has changed but some clubs are timeless in terms of forgiveness and distance. My advice don’t always be drawn in by the big brand prices, your favourite club sometimes is the one you played so well in the past 😉 thank me later ………PS and the F9 7 wood still matches this clubs numbers !

  18. I currently play a 5 wood. I would have gone to the 7 wood but I am actually hitting my 4 Hybrid really well, so no reason on replacing it. For now.

  19. I’m looking for a 7W to replace my 3H. I’m a Ping guy w 430 irons and have a Ping 430 Max 10K driver. Was going to look at 7W’s in the next couple weeks so this video is perfect timing. Have hit my buddies Callaway Smoke 7W and loved it. Will give a few a try but expect to come back to either the 430 7W or the 440. It’s about an $80 difference. If I hit the 440 better than it is a no brainer.

  20. Definitely on my to buy list this year, need a Bobby special deal from Wortley Pro Shop 😉⛳️🏌🏻‍♂️

  21. The fwy woods look so much nicer without the turbulators, proving once again that they aren't needed on the driver, or EVERY manufacturer would have them on their clubs.

  22. I think a lot of tour pros hit the 7 wood out of thick rough so the deeper face makes it a little easier to not hit under the ball in the rough.

  23. I play 7 wood 425 and 9 wood 430 … then from 6 to gap….. best choice ever. Not so sure 440 is different from 430 or even 425. The tech on Fairway woods don’t chance so often
