  1. Could you imagine if Cronin lands in the Big East? I need Cronin at Nova or Georgetown in the next year or two……it would be toxic, but hilariously so lol

  2. Hurley is awesome. Drives haters crazy cuz 1) he knows it, 2) doesn’t pretend not to, and 3) doesn’t pretend that haters’ opinions matter
People in Connecticut are more arrogant, on average, than most other states. So it resonates/plays better to the home crowd anyhow (when it’s earned, that is… & he certainly has)

  3. Tom Izzo has to be front runner for coach of year!!! We were suppose to be a middling big ten team! Now we are favorites to win the big ten and can be a 1-3 seed in March

  4. These modern sports analysts are as mid as it gets. Not found a single one that do anything but regurgitate kenpom over and over. Analytics are great don’t get me wrong but simply looking at off and def efficiency. Fading a team with more quad 1 wins than anyone (including over duke) because they have a mid def efficiency is lightweight dumb. You have to factor possessions per game into this because Kentuckys pace of offense means more possessions for their opponents which in turn will mean more points. Yes they aren’t elite on defense but in points per 100 possessions they are outscoring their opponents 125 to 100. These guys boring af, like we can’t read kenpom for ourselves

  5. Hats off to Rick Pitino and his squad. He’s got his team playing exceptional basketball this year. Their worse loss so far was by 3 to Georgia. A candidate for COTY imo.

  6. Yeah I also disagree with your views on Hurley and Cronin. I purposely will not watch UConn or UCLA. I also won’t watch Marquette cuz I can’t stand Shaka grabbing his players during live play

  7. If he wasn't the best coach in the game back 2 back this wouldn't be a thing, guess they want clicks or the rest of college basketball really doesn't matter much..

  8. Haha like I understand these guys don’t want to burn bridges with coaches but lets be real here…its childish and unbecoming of a professional. Man so much of sports “journalism” these days is writing word for word what said program/coach tells them too and they call it a scoop. Local beat writers where the way

  9. For fukz sakes! So much pearl clutching about Hurley's antics by the college basketball punditocracy. Every coach has their own motivational approach. As it turns out, Hurley has been way more demonstrative on the sidelines this year compared to last year. Last year's team was so dominant and mature, he didn't need to light his hair on fire. This year's team is more complacent and softer. I happen to think this helps fire up his kids. BTW, one thing about Hurley's sideline antics is that you never see him berate his players during the game. I'm sure he does plenty of that during their practices. He operates as their biggest cheerleader and a bare fisted enforcer willing to take a swing at the refs who dare to blow questionable whistles against his players. Anything for the win, even if it's ugly. I love that about him.

  10. He is just one more loss away from being going Alonzo on the refs, "I run sh!t around here. You just work here. Yeah, that's right, you better walk away. Go on and walk away… 'cause I'm gonna' burn this m0therfucker down. King Kong ain't got sh!t on me. That's right, that's right. Sh!t, I don't care. I'm winning anyway, I'm winning… I'm winning any motherfucking way."

Don't lie, whether you like him or not, we all can see him doing it. He is a crazy person, but also not wrong about being the best coach in college basketball (not the whole sport though).

  11. Hurley says he's the best in the land. But in his own conference Pitino just stays winning forever and always and everywhere…pro title, too… and you Dan?

  12. Louisville beat Clemson fairly easily. Yes it was home but it wasn’t a particularly compelling game with Louisville holding the lead like 85% of the game

  13. Kentucky didn’t have to deal with a broken brand, Pat Kelsey had to sell guys on Louisville and pull them out of the dirt convincing guys that the program wasn’t dead
