The new 2024 TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver features a stunning aged copper aesthetic, that blew both Johnny and Alex away.

Is it going in our bags? Find out in this video, where we compare it to Alex’s PING G430 MAX 10k, and Johnny’s TaylorMade Qi10 driver.

  1. Have ordered the 11.5 degree model, but not due for a few weeks yet it seems! As a mid-teens handicapper, have I made a colossal mistake!? 😒

  2. Im a 6 hcp. I game the BRNR mini driver 11.5 deg for a year now. With stock shaft reg on 12.5 deg and the 13gr weight in the front ( I got completely fitted for it). It replaced my driver. I loose about 10 yards compared to my previous driver. BUT BUT BUT…I find way more fairways and whatever you guys feel or think, it hits so easy from the deck and a lot further then a 3 wood and more penatrating flight in the wind. Wich is a must into the heavy winds that I have on my links course ( a 3 wood balloons to much). It is so versatile and love it so much.
Unfortunately I cracked the face of it yesterday. I truly hope that taylormade is going to replace it with the BRNR model and not telling me that the BRNR is sold out and that they going to replace it with the new model.
    Take care.

  3. i ended up getting the new copper version and i LOVE it went with the 13.5 degree and the MCC +4 midsize grip off the fairway is awesome and off the tee glad i went with it to go inbetween my 9 degree driver and my 17 degree Hywood Knock on wood off the deck i have been blasting it it works great for me cheers from Canada

  4. I found a second hand new condition 11.5 degree at a golf course pro shop. They’re kind of hard to come by and it was a great price. Love the look of it. I’ve yet to hit an awful shot with it. It has replaced my 3 wood in the bag and comes out on any tight hole and sometimes on every driver hole if I’m having a bad day. Absolutely love this thing! I’d buy a new burner max driver if Taylormade ever decided to make a full size version. I, play it standard loft, weight back for now. I hope to take it to a launch monitor and maximize the settings for me. I’m at 17 hcap but I bet this clubs going to save me a lot of lost penalty strokes over this season’s rounds

  5. I’m gaming Taylormade Stealth 2+ 9 degree and the new Mini Driver in 13.5. It’s replaced my 3. Wood. Didn’t use 3 wood off the deck that much, more 7 wood . Loving the Mini driver

  6. Hmm, so both of you sprayed your driver strikes all over the face. And both of you hit the mini pretty well near the center. And then proceeded to discuss why you would prefer to have your driver vs the mini. Maybe you play a lot of easy courses, low rough. Play a few courses where a ball in the rough means 9 iron max. Then see which club you prefer.

  7. Lovelt looking dont get where it sits🤷🤷 in the bag surely ams be better hitting a bigger headed club …also if you do buy one you aint loosing money ridiculous prices 🤣🤣🤯🤯🤯

  8. Itll suit a few not many …ne nice to see more oems bring one out …heard pxg might be doing one lads 🤷

  9. Totally disagree I recently purchased the be BRNR Mini Driver the 11.5 dg positioned the heavy weight forward and Boom it’s longer and straighter than my Driver, averaging 275 yrs carry, so easy to hit it feels incredible

  10. Really don’t get why amateurs are eulogising about this 2 wood, when i was a junior, eons ago plus 4 handicap, i used a 2 wood, it was a weapon, good off the deck as well as the tee. 55 years later, technology has moved on so much. I play a AiSmoke max 9 degree, turned down to 8, hit the fairway most of the time, odd drive in the semi, 250 yards not bad age 67. Hit my AiSmoke 3 wood 16.5 degree (4 wood) 235 off the tee and 220 off the deck, so where would a 2 wood sit? The 3 wood is so easy to hit, looks easy. I get the 2 wood is shorter than a driver, supposedly therefore dispersion improves, but with my AiSmoke Max the dispersion is great, and that’s the technology as much as me, just don’t get the need for a mini driver. Tour Pros are different, on certain tight courses, i can see why Rory dabbles, and Tommy Fleetwood has always gravitated towards a mini driver, but they just use anything they wish, what ever suits them on any given day. Not enough gapping difference for amateurs in my view

  11. I got mine a few weeks ago 11.5 i lofted it up to 13 and it’s about 10 shorter than my driver but I hit more fairways than my driver ever has
At the moment it’s replacing my 3 wood as I don’t hit my 3 wood of the deck . So it my fairway finder club . I use it just like my driver off the tee high Tee hight and hit up on it

  12. I’m gaming the 13.5 stiff mini driver in full standard setup and it’s the best bit of kit I’ve bought in years. I’m a 3 handicap I’ve just turned 60 and noticed I was struggling a bit with my cobra king f9 driver off the tee with accuracy and losing a lot left and right. my confidence was shot but The mini driver has now got me back in the game with an average distance of 265, and my Arccos stats for fairways hit have rocketed from 46% to 74%, I see absolutely no need to have a full-size driver when I’m getting this performance and accuracy. If I went back to a normal driver, it would be for pure ego only which I think might come into it a lot with players. I’ll happily take a loss of 10 or 15 yards to be playing it into the green every time not trampling around looking for lost balls in the forest.😂 oh and I can beast this off the deck 250 min, it’s so easy to hit and like a bullet. I guess you could say I’m a fan. 😂

  13. I Ended up getting the 11.5 Degree Mini Burner! I always struggled with driver until now, hitting longer straighter better than ever! Highly Recommend Mini Driver to anyone looking for more consistency!! (also i often use it off the deck with good results)

  14. I got a chance to do a fitting with mini brnr and the new callaway mini as I was hoping to replace my 3 wood with one of them. Both are fantastic off the tee. Like really good. But.. and it’s a big but for me, I couldn’t hit it off the deck as well as my 3 wood. Doesn’t fit any other slot in my bag so no go for me.

  15. I really wanted to see this but you pissed around for 8 minutes before starting. Down vote from me.

  16. Not enough analysis of the data, 20 minutes of talking without the data of each shot. Watching this is frustrating to say the least. You might as well be the people sitting around talking about “good hands and ugly girlfriends” in Money Ball. You’re not saying anything and taking up time. Bring a damn Trackman out to the tee box or even something way cheaper. Jesus.

  17. I’m going with the 13.5 mini driver to replace my 3 wood. Picking it up on Friday. Has only just arrived here in Australia and in very limited quantities. I stopped using my 3 wood months ago. I like the idea of a larger club face for 3 wood and will play around with the setup during my next golf lesson. Fun stuff

  18. I am a 4.8 and i go with the mini driver copper at 11.5 degree. I hit it 290 and straight. If i hit my driver good its 300. This has replaced my driver hands down.
