The new PING iCrossover club comes equipped with an adjustable hosel that allows golfers to adjust the PING iCrossover into eight unique loft and lie settings. The PING iCrossover is one of the first utility irons to ever include an adjustable hosel.

In this video, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald is joined by 2nd Swing master club fitter Jake Montgomery to showcase the PING iCrossover’s adjustable settings and fit himself for a PING iCrossover. Throughout the session, Jake tests a few different settings available on the PING iCrossover to dial in one that works best for him.

  1. I have the iCrossover 2 iron and the adjustability of it is really fantastic. Easy to hit, looks great behind the ball and one of the best utility irons I have ever used!

  2. I play the Icrossover in 2 iron and 4 iron. I absolutely love them. 4 iron is turned +1.0 degree to give me the distance I want plus a little extra height to stick greens on par 5s.
I haven’t played with the two iron much since it’s been great on the standard setting but looks like I’ll have to try the options now!

  3. I understand you’re probably a good golfer, but need more of a sample size with each setting. I feel like you were swinging harder with the lower loft adjustments trying to get distance

  4. Dumbest thing about this club is that the only two loft options with standard lie angle is -1.5deg or +1.5. But the best thing about it is when you completely miss the face the drop off in distance is nowhere near as bad as it should be. I have the t200 driving iron build and out the middle it’s amazing. But when I toe ball it, the drop off is wild. It goes nowhere. But the ping retains insane distance. You get the feedback so your spine and hands are fully aware you missed the center. But all the time I smack a toe ball and my playing partners will say “great shot”. It does spin more then you’d think and which I don’t love but on the course it never feels like it spins a lot. But Trackman always has it spinning about 800 more then my t200 yet the ping never balloons and the t200 always balloons on me
