Are you struggling with swaying or sliding in your golf swing? In this video, we’ll show you how to stop swaying and sliding in your golf swing so you can start compressing the golf ball like a pro! These easy-to-follow tips will help you build a more stable and consistent golf swing, leading to cleaner ball strikes and more powerful shots.
If you are looking to stop your sway in your golf swing do not underestimate that the set up can be a part of the issue. If you do not have a balance set up it might put you in a position that your body has to slide or sway during the backswing. Balance and understanding where your center of pressure is at address can help you learn how to minimize that sway and stop moving laterally during your backswing and downswing. The simple drill included in this video will help you reduce you sway.
If you’ve been frustrated with poor contact, loss of distance, or inconsistency in your game, this video is for you. We’ll break down the causes of swaying and sliding, and teach you proper body rotation, weight transfer, and balance to improve your swing mechanics. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced golfer, these golf instruction tips will help you hit the ball more solidly and gain confidence on the course.

Enjoy it when you use real life situations. Did the student not want to be on camera? That rope drill makes a lot of sense.
excellent explanation for someone that struggles with the set up piece. For what it is worth I get a ton out of the avatars. I am sure others do as well. If I could hit the like button 100 times I would for the TWO Seinfeld references hahahah. W.
Question of the day! Would you rather PRACTICE or PLAY…comment below and let me know. Thanks for watching! T.J.
Excellent information, this was my issue when I started two seasons ago, talk about taking yourself off balance and out of sync. The stringed clothing or the rope around the neck, great idea!
His setup appears much wider as well.
Tough question. Enjoy both but would say if I had to decide between practice and just playing prob practice but if it was between practice and competing it would be playing competitively. I like these sports box 3d videos you do.
Set up is the start of the swing sequence. Balance is the start of the set-up. Good to understand.
I would bet most would rather PLAY because PRACTICE is the WORK one puts into their game.
Early in the season, I like to practice on the course by going out later in the afternoon and hitting multiple shots off the tee or on approach to or around the green. I don’t have the energy or desire to go to the range and hit buckets of balls anymore. A little later in the year, I prefer to play with guys from my regular group.
I might be odd but I really enjoy practicing. Possibly better than playing. I am a tinkerer by nature and it scratches that itch.
great video this is all me all day
