New found energy in Aus Rugby at the moment thanks to the Wallabies. Can this energy spill over into the Super Rugby this year?
I see a way more successful year for all Aus teams. Melbourne Rebels folding has strengthened the rest of the clubs. Let’s see how it plays out

  1. I really don't think Tupou will be the signing the Tahs are hoping for. Man was barely lasting thirty minutes a match last year 😬.
I'd like to see the Reds finish in the top four, but that'll require more consistency. They were a little all over the place last season. Had some real crackers, but then dropped it when it really mattered.
I can't see the Brumbies getting any better this year. I feel like Larkham's coaching is lacking something, and it's the talent of his team getting them through games moreso than his direction.

As stacked as the Warratahs are now, the result from last season may come back to haunt them. It'll be interesting to see what effect the new coach has on the team's morale.
I think the new format may actually give the Aussie teams more of a chance of making the final this year. While I can't see them finishing in the top four, they only really have to finish in the top six now, and have three good games in a row.

  2. I'm unsure what to expect from oz teams this year. They all stepped up in defence last season, excellent loosies, but struggling in tight 5 and in the halves. It'll be something else if tahs go top 4
