To be honest. Milro was most of our problem. Grubb did not want the job because of milro.

I think you have to have balance on offense to win consistently and win championships. If Grubb is all about throwing and thats it, bama doesn't need him.
I still don't understand why they didn't go after more defensive lineman in the transfer portal I mean besides Kelby Collins. Don't get me wrong I'm glad he came but we need more help stopping the Run there were so many good big 300 Pounders in that portal that Bama just passed up. And no I don't think Ryan Grubb is coming to Alabama if he was he would already be hired. Honestly I don't know what coach is going to do more than likely he'll probably keep Nick Sheridan I hope not I mean if he's not going to get Ryan Grubb please get rid of Nick Sheridan and get somebody else if it's not grub. It's weird you know they went after that Texas A&M defensive lineman but he went to South Carolina and it's like after that they had no more options like he was the only guy they were looking at besides Collins. And I don't think Alabama needed another running back that's just a wasted roster spot and I would have gone after the guy from Utah State, Faison.
And I'm still wondering why they hired Another DB coach I thought that Maurice Lindquist was going to be the DB's coach well apparently they hired some guy named Jason Jones who played it Alabama from 96 through 2000 And he's supposed to be Another DB coach just to confuse the situation more. It's hard to put a gauge on this coach debeor and what's going on in his mind and what his next move is! he surprises me every time and it's not always in a good way. Honestly it's a dumb reason why Ryan Grubb is not going to come to Alabama and it's because of his freaking wife she can't stand it down there. Yeah there's still a lot of unanswered questions with this team going in the next year like I said they needed another QB another tight end…I don't know who this 2 Star tight end they got I mean this guy is not going to see the field they were going after a quality tight end from Arkansas who went to Ole Miss and after that they just stopped looking and then they stumbled across this guy whoever he is. I mean they had a great tight end that just hit the portal from Tennessee and Texas A&M. But Alabama gets this no name 2 star Wasted roster spot.
We needed another QB we need two defensive lineman we needed a safety and another wide receiver we've lost four in the past couple of weeks. Of course we couldn't even hang on to Vodney Cleveland In the 2026 recruiting class and if we don't get him that's going to hurt because he will be an incredible defensive lineman for whoever he plays for. And at this point the kids in state still favor Auburn over Alabama. Even after a horrible year that Auburn had kids in states still trust Auburn over Alabama I mean it's obvious in this last recruiting class that Auburn out recruited Alabama in state and they're already out recruiting Alabama in the 2026 class and you can't have that I mean you've got to win that battle or he will not be in Tuscaloosa long. I mean honestly if he doesn't get it done after next year he will be gone.

If we haven’t heard something about Grubb coming to Tuscaloosa by the weekend, I’m nervous he’s not coming.
No, he doesn't need him as much as Grub needs a job right now, so if I were coach kd I would way and see if he would reach out to me first. An if he doesn't I wouldn't sweat it, because he was the one who walked away from him to coach in the NFL and looked how that turned out. An by doing so coach kd will have the upper hand, and plus we as bama fans needs to stop getting on social media talking about who bama needs to hire, all you're doing is giving other teams the chance to go after them as well. We see what happen to Grub at first he was with bama and then the Seahawks hired him

Mike Macdonald proving he is capable of being a head coach. He has what it takes by doing what he thinks is best for his program.
He hires Ryan Grubb from Alabama and takes him away from Kalen DeBoer where he had a guaranteed job for 3 years. He asked Grubb to up and move his family from Tuscaloosa after they had just moved.
Easy for some weak minded coach, I.e. Kalen DeBoer, to say I can’t fire this guy after one year. He moved his family for me and gave up a guaranteed job with his good buddy DeBoer to come and coach for me here in Seattle.
But the bottom line is, the offense wasn’t improving and coming along at the rate that it should be under a good successful, NFL ready coordinator. If you don’t produce, you’re out. That’s how great coaches handle their programs. There is no well he needs more than one year.
Bull 💩 I don’t care if I give you 3 weeks. I better be able to see improvement and see you adjusting and making tweaks to the strengths of our team. You don’t get to have “your type of players” all the time. You have to be able to work with what you have.
That’s why MacDonald said bye. No feelings attached no thing to do w well we are buddies and family friends. Screw that.
DeBoer isn’t man enough to run this program like that and fire Sheridan. He is lucky he got 1 year to prove he was capable once Grubb left. He failed miserably. Our offense regressed. We were no better the last game than we were in week 1. In fact, we were worse.
The fact that he can’t bring himself to fire Nick Sheridan is exactly why DeBoer will fail in Tuscaloosa.
I am not too keen on hiring Grubb. We gave him a chance and he snubbed us. How about going after one of the OC’s from one of the teams in this year’s college playoffs, for example, Arizona State’s OC. More than anything, I want someone that wants to be at Bama and knows the position. Roll Tide!
Don’t hire him this year, hire him next year if this year doesn’t go well since Bama fans thinks he’s the answer 😂

So straight up it is completely adolescent to say that the SEC and the pac-12 are two completely different levels of the game when you have a year where you have exactly how many teams in the college football playoff??
