  1. Is he opening the face on those sand shots?? I thought Dan preached about closing the face and focusing on the chosen release

  2. Not much difference between Nailcote hall in December and Barbados in January. !😂😂😂… As usual loads to work on and get the short game on track for this season..

  3. Perhaps the videos for an international audience but where we play in the UK it’s mud and ice on fairways and concert like bunkers. Would be great to have a lie interpretation lesson

  4. I do like this type of coaching: in short, visualising what you would do if you were throwing the ball onto the green will often give you the right trajectory/ club selection answer

  5. Dan, as always a great video, what a beautiful course to be highlighting your moves!, I will hopefully be trying to copy your actions shortly on the new Apes Hill Course.
I am fortunate enough to have played Apes Hill many times under the old owners Sir Charles Williams (known as COW) a really lovely individual, as I own a house there.
Getting back to your video and watching you turning with no pressure or tension in your whole body, it reminds me of Brian Sparks and his teaching methods of the La Danse du golf , I practice daily via your book and videos , one with thoughts and tension
, then two , relaxed, with positive thoughts, what a difference, keep the videos coming please. Great teachings

  6. I was surprised how successful teaching a chip putt technique to new golfer GF has been, both from using different clubs like in this video and getting her to imagine its a long putt not a chip to stop her trying to chop or lift it.
From a poor short game her confidence improved so much that she can now do the hard shots like different length pitches (obv a diff tech) thinking theyre easy!

  7. Whilst connection or in my case overdoing it with full swings ruined my long game it definitely gave me a good wedge game

  8. As an amateur, I find it impossible to maintain enough feel using various lofts around the green. I can execute the shots ok, but my distance control is haywire due to lack of practicing each shot. After much frustration, I've gone back to a SW and LW (with low bounce for tight lies) so that my distance control is much more consistent. Also, I don't like pitch and run as I then I don't need to consider the break as much. SW or LW eliminates ~50% of my need to read greens.

  9. Great drills for me to work on. Thank you 🙏🏽 what position was the ball in when you did the tee drill in the pitching segment?

  10. Seems like your grip in the bunker is still pretty strong. Seems to work better for me than the oft recommended weak grip open stance. Still with open clubface. Am I thinking right? As always masterful videao. Thanks.

  11. Dan is the Short Game King! Love his content, watch it religiously! The 3 releases are so simple to implement, and you get so much versatility in your game!

  12. I love your 3 releases teaching. My short games has improved considerably. My question is around how to land the ball on my spot. You mentioned using the same setup,
swing & speed with 3 clubs you chose for chip & run. Previously I found that my 7 or 8 iron swing length approximated my putting stroke for total distance to the hole for a level chip. I'd use a longer or shorter club to compensate for uphill or downhill rollout. So when I am gauging the length of my swing with the 52 vs 7i would you use same length of backswing for both clubs? Thanks, love what you bring to our games!

  13. Dan, any drills to correct shanking short pitch shots and chips? I’ve seen your video with hitting the ghost ball in the bunker but does that work with short pitches and chips? Thanks
