ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

  1. not confusing at all, but VERY much too long, sadly typical American.
BTW, I have never met a slicer, ever.

  2. Good afternoon Danny
Could you tell me if you made a video on breathing

I do recall that you had done in a swing
    But couldn’t remember what video

  3. Can you please clarify do you close the club face and then re-grip or do you close it by turning the wrists anticlockwise?

  4. Brilliant video. The chap mentioned about hitting 7 to 4 iron the same distance. I don't slice, baby draw if anything, but I don't get the club head speed. Any vids on increasing speed without going to gym? I'm 65 and ten stone soaking wet! But I can see how far some of the small female pros hit a ball. Technique! Thanks Danny.

  5. Thanks Danny. I am currently in 'Pull/hook' land, but i am struggling to get a more in-to-out path. It would have been great if you covered how to achieve this a little more.

  6. Thx danny, this helps me very much. It solves a big issue for me related to 'on plane'. Remains a question on 'the big shoulder, forearms rotation at 5:50; where the right forearm coming below the left one. Is this setting of the shoulder/forearms regular to use setup for all clubs or type of bal flights.
(Or special related to hitting draws or because the clubhead was closed).
    Regards, Marcel

  7. My mate Shaun watched this yesterday morning and talked me through it before the round. Made an immediate difference – straighter and decent distance (for me) without feeling like I’m losing control to get more power. Thanks Andrees, Danny and Shaun!

  8. Being able to control a slice shot is a skill I don't have bit hitting slice shots when I don't want to is a habit I need to correct. Great lesson, thanks Andreas and Danny

  9. Tried it at range as promised. Few pulls,no slices, will keep in the bag. Need to watch video a few times. Golf is weird, I've had loads of lessons, the main thing to remember is they all add to each other. This one definitely adds to the lead shoulder up and opposite shoulder back.

  10. I watch this yesterday morning and played later. I have a slice that usually start in the center than goes off to the right. I made this adjustment with the shoulders, ball went much straighter, and hit 75% of the fairways as well as added about 20-25 yards. Did it cure all my issues, no, but what an improvement. Thanks

  11. I tried this yesterday at the driving range. Good results! I don't really struggle with a slice, but this gave me more consistent drives. Very good tip!

  12. I naturally draw the ball but sometimes I get the high right ones. This is a good setup checkpoint for when things get out of whack.

  13. Often when you have guests (dad’s the exception) rewatching several times is required to grasp the concept. Close the face then twist arms, right.

  14. And the solution for those who then get stuck in "snap hook land" is to little by little weaken the grip until the desired shot is achieved???

  15. But what to do if you are hitting hooks then hitting fades. I never inow which way its going. What do I do? Love the channel as always!!

  16. This is literally the best drill I have ever seen. I have now added this move to my reshot routine. It works great with irons and wedges as well. Thank you for posting this. I'm finally straight again.

  17. This is what Shawn clement has been teaching for years, I'm surprised you never mentioned him.💁🏾‍♂️

  18. Good talk here. Grabbed a club instantly to get the feel. Can’t wait to try this. Like you said it changes several things with a proper set up.

  19. As a serial slicer of the ball, and finding my driving inconsistent and frustrating, I followed the advice shown in the video and hit 10 straight drives in a row for the first time in my life. Many thanks👍

  20. So I tried this on the range today and took it right to my round. Hands down, the single best tip I have seen in my 9 years of golfing!!!! It also works for my irons! Thank you a ton!!!

  21. Thanks mate tried it in comp today with no practice. Took a while to figure it out but back 9 was good. I think for me it works better only towing in a little so I could hit a solid fade with inside path.

  22. Another great video Danny, so good to listen to him and respond to your questions… Keep em' coming. Thank you
