The Ping G440 Max driver is the best driver tested in 2025, this could be the longest driver that is also the most forgiving driver ever made for mid to high handicap golfers.

If you want ot find out why then do not miss this video, as an average golfer I hit the longest drive recorded this year with the Ping G440 Max.

  1. Just buy the previous one, only major difference is the colour. It was better when there wasn't a new model every single year.

  2. Should wereally buy a new driver every year? I 'm playing for over 35 years now! I'm not rich, I would buy a swing if I only could😂

  3. Longest driver you’ve hit in 2025? Might be the only driver you’ve hit in 2025, we’re only 2 weeks into the year 2025. I get you love pings, but this level of gush in a review seems a bit over the top (e.g. sponsored).

  4. I give credit to Ping for trying new things. But as we saw with the G440 irons scrapping the 5 wedge setup and reverting to the traditional 4 wedges, I predict that this 46” shaft thing will be a one generation and done thing. My best balls so far of the new drivers has been a DS-Adapt LS, when I actually hit a decent shot. If anything, the thing I keep gravitating towards is a mini driver because of the shorter shaft. Just want to keep the stupid ball in play.

  5. Honest summary that most average golfers won't see any gains at all. User friendly is the take away. Most arcoss et al stats confirm that average club golfers aren't hitting any longer at all despite all the marketing claims. It all comes down to strike

  6. These drivers are priced too high for the same cost you can get a years worth of lessons from a PGA pro and guess what will actually improve your game, the latest Arccos data shows that average driver distances haven't really moved for over 8 years for handicap golfers, the golf equipment industry is playing many for fools.

  7. Excellent review Andy. Thanks. Just one question. I have a G430 driver. In what ways is the 440 better? Longer/ reduced dispersion/feel?

  8. If you listened to this bloke we would all have warehouses full of golf clubs.

    Do me a favour?

Get a Ping G30 and compare it with the G440 Max. It will be the most informative and useful video you have made.

  9. Gimmick ,, gimmick ,, gimmick ,,, of course all " new Ping driver <<< all marketing ,,, good deals on new 2023 / 2024 drivers EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THIS HIGH PRICED PING DRIVER ,, THINK about it ,,, what else is he going to say ,, all garbage !!

  10. Better to hit with RCT balls to correctly read the spin. As it is, your spin numbers are just estimates.

  11. Andy, I have seen all your videos and whatever Ping pays you to push their overpriced clubs must be worth it. I think you lose credibilty bby suggesting we would all player better with new expensive Ping clubs. I like but now I know where u come from. By the way what happend to the best driver of 2024 ? Should we trash it. In this video you say "I love Ping products" that says it all- what about objectivity. Ping makes good clubs, we all agree, but the prices are beyond most of us.

  12. As a dedicated Ping l;over and employee, you should wear a Ping hat- What about you suggestion of shorter driver shaft to 44 inches. Why didn't they listen to you- keep pushing that 46 inch driver like a good lad.

  13. Good review not watched for a while, last time you had some curve on your drives, (like most amateurs), have you had some swing changes to straighten out or is it due to the driver?

  14. Have any of you ever wondered why there are so few “Iron Byron” reviews on YouTube 😂😂

  15. Thanks for the review . I ordered a 12 degree G440 Max at PGA store today . Multiple shoulder operations and slow swing speed . I won’t receive it until early Feb . I currently play the Ping G430 Max in 10 1/2 . Looking forward to gaming this new tool.

  16. I’m playing with 20 year old clubs and I’m still scoring the same as I did 20 years ago. It’s the Indian not the arrow.

  17. Well, you’ve peeked my curiosity! I will test hit this driver at the first opportunity and compare to my current Stealth 2.

  18. Love your videos, Andy. Easy to relate to as we have similar handicaps, swing speed and ability! Your videos of the new releases the last couple of weeks have given me a lot to consider prior to my driver fitting in a couple of weeks, as I try to move up from the mini I currently use. Please ignore the spammers and keep up the good work.

  19. Ok you haven't tested "every" brand especially when the Japanese brands other than Mizuno mostly focus on slower swing speeds.

  20. I have G430 Max. Its coupled with a Fujikara R Vista shaft and is so easy to hit. I average around 240 metres total. I am 69 years old. Straight down the middle. I can't see the 440 doing any better.

  21. Im getting a fitting for this Andy, but ive git a funny feeling my Ping 425sft will still be on the money,if it gives me extra yards, its in the bag,if it doesn't ill play my 425…4 years ive had it..hardly misses the fairway..im a Ping man..fingers crossed its a good one..like you say..im 64 off 11.. forgiveness rules

  22. Year after next this will be £200 and the new drivers will be the best ever , they cannot get that much better , maybe aesthetically they may improve but surely they’re near the limit in what they can achieve , and even if there’s improvement it’s not £550 worth of improvement.
