  1. Thanks for this Luke, well done. The softfli I haven't played since 2019 (didn't play for 5 years), and it's been through several iterations since. Loved the feel off all clubs including the putter. I played the straightfli and Trufeel this past season, like them both. Surprised the latest straightfli had a higher ball flight and less rollout than the softfli in your testing. I was expecting the opposite. Trufeel is advertised as a lower, penetrating ball flight and that's what I found. All excellent golf balls for many golfers, and terrific value.

  2. Aweome video Luke. I just started playing the Softfli this winter (around 40°F) and I guess it’s just not my imagination that my short iron shots are flying as good as my warmer weather shots. You proved it with data. Fyi, I do primarily play the Maxfli Tour, so I am a big fan of the Maxfli line of golf balls.

  3. Been playing the Softfli in matte yellow for a couple of years, and have tried the Straightfli with yellow gloss cover this past season, along with the new yellow gloss cover on the Softfli. The matte Softfli has been my ball, as I like the feel, and it does have some short game, as evidenced in your video, with the high spin numbers.. Did not realize it spun that much with a wedge!! My golf buddies have got to watch this video!! Thank you for doing this video…

  4. When I lived in the UK and started playing golf in the mid 1980's I played Maxfli balls. I think they were owned by Slaze ger/ Dunlop. Not sure. They were a very good ball. Good to see the name continues, although now owned in the US. I don't think I will be able to get them here in Thailand. They appear to be very good balls at a very good price. Enjoyed the video Luke and brought back some good memories when I played off a 7 handicap and used Maxfli.

  5. Great video. I’ve been playing the SoftFli for a few years now. By far, the best ball off the tee for me. The Wilson Zip is the only other ball which is very similar in price and performance.

  6. I'll send you some American balls, you send me some Seeds to test? Please let me know! Just got some Wilson Zip, with three dozen Wilson Boost on the way!

  7. Maxfli Tour, X & S, balls are the real deal! They balance spin their balls at the factory. These are interesting. Straightfli would be my pick! Impressive! Thanks

  8. If you have the opportunity, test the Precept Laddie Extreme. Cheap, and I have had great success. My usual gamer ball is Maxfli Straightfli.
