Great tip
Todd, Jeff from Venice Florida. Excellent tips however what to do if ball is buried in the rough?
Good info but if it is too rough, I prefer an iron. Good morning from Huntsville, Alabama

👍 Todd, as always.. great tips…. Orange, CA
Todd, right off the bat you misspoke. You said, "Every once in a while, you got a ball in the rough." In my case that should have been, "Every once in a while, you got a ball in the fairway." 😁

Thanks Todd! Rudyard Sosa watching from Dominican Republic

This rough is quite an easy one… what about it if the rough is higher than your ball?
But when your rough is a fern gully forest vs. This nice second cut then what? This rough is way less rough than anything I'm hacking my way out of
Thanks for the tip. Orlando Florida.
Thank you, Todd! Always excellent… (From Vancouver, Canada)
Bob from Keizer Oregon. Great point!
The flaring of the lead foot is something I do when i feel that I'm not getting my weight shifted enough and/or not rotating my body. It basically forces me to get my weight shifted and turn through the shot.
Checking in from Minnesota.
Personally I would class that rough as fairway. Any differences when hitting out of thick grass about 25mm above the ball? Cheers Ross from Toowoomba Australia.
You call that rough?

That ball was sitting up nice for being in the rough. Not the type of rough i play out of. Barely see the top of the ball. What is your suggestion for those types of lies. I do own a 3 and a 4 hybrid. Seaford, De. Thanks
Man I’d love to get some lessons with you! If you’re ever in Louisville KY let me know 😅

Hello From Alaska!
My hybrid 5 is my go to club for poor lies as long as there's at least 150 yards to go.
Hello Todd, I spend quite a bit of time watching your videos, enjoying your easy to follow advice. How about doing a Whats in the bag for us, cant fathom out what clubs your using.
That’s not rough! At least not in Scotland
Can’t wait to try it here in Aiken SC!
From SW Florida… the land of "Cart Path Rules Only" with all this rain! Our rough grows 1" overnight. 😆
Why did it sound so loud when you hit the ball???? Not hit enough grass?? 😂😂😂😂😂 Will try this tomorrow. There’s an amateur tournament coming up so they are keeping the rough deep!!! Have to be practically on top of your ball to FIND.
Do you move the ball back as the slope is steeper?
