We love you with all our hearts Bob. I look fwd to seeing you in that field of dreams and havin a catch.
I'm a Brewers fan simply because of Bob. Those ABC broadcasts were amazing.
Another thing we have to be jealous as pirates fans. They just do not make men like this anymore. The GOAT.
The only comfort that I have of this, is that Uke is with God now. He's calling games featuring the Greats of baseball, and he's no longer in any pain. I genuinely teared up hearing this news.
I’m a Texas ranger fan. But even I know that bob uecker Is legendary
The game will never be the same w/o him, part of the fun is watching the Brewers on TV sound off radio on just to listen to Bob. His knowlage of the game and everyone who played- always tidbits about a player wether a Brewer or another team player.. his comments made every game special. Also being at a game and seeing him up in the booth was simply the greatest. He is Mr. Baseball now and for ever, we love you BOB💙💛
This helped 👉💉😊
I was stationed at the Pentagon in 2009 and was invited to a function at the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff house. He was hosting members of the Nationals and Brewers who were in town to play. There were only about 30 total in attendance and I looked over and there was Bob Uecker standing there by himself drinking a Miller Lite!! There was no way I would miss this opportunity and walked over and introduced myself. He is just as funny and charming in real life as I saw him depicted on TV and movies. I'm a long time (and suffering) Braves fan and he told me stories of catching Phil Niekro, one of my favorite players on the 70's and 80's. Bob is a Class Act and gifted me lifetime memory of me sharing a Miller Lite with this gentleman!!
the one TRUE GOAT! You'll be missed, but never forgotten….
The Blue Crew had Vin Scully. The Brew Crew had Bob Eucker. Many of us Dodger fans were always just a little jealous.
Bob was a National treasure that will be dearly missed. There will never be another Bob Uecker. Condolences to his family. Thank you Mr. Baseball for the great memories 🙏🏼
My heart breaks. But remembering him, I can’t help but chuckle, laugh and walk away smiling for the many memories he gave us. May you truly rest in peace, Mr. Baseball.
Forever JUUUUST a bit outside we love you bob and prayers for his family
It breaks my heart. But when I think of him, I can't help but laugh and smile because of all the memories he left us. Mr. Baseball, may you rest in peace.
Uecker had the unique ability to make a Brewers blow out loss still be interesting and listenable. You never turned off a game that Uecker was calling, very few announcers had that gift. Marty Glickman comes to mind, but that's it.
I’m not from Wisconsin, and was never much of a baseball fan, but I knew Bob Eucker.
Thank you posting this. Impossible to watch without tears. Miss you Bob.
I'm 53. I can't remember a single summer without Uecker calling play by play in the background. It's like losing your favorite Uncle.
The Brewers without Bob Uecker is the same as the Dodgers without Vin Scully. Games won't be the same.
Dude, I'm literally crying with sadness and joy listening how so intently engaged this one man was to Baseball!!
Hello, Humans
