I wish Ping hadn't built draw bias into their more lofted hybrids. There are a lot of older golfers who can't sustain launch and spin in order to game anything longer than a modern 6 or 7 iron. Most go to hybrids in the middle of the bag. Many of them are formerly good players with decent deliveries and don't need a club that wants to go left. Just give us a perfectly neutral head.
Thanks guys.
Great explanation as usual, do you anticipate having to make any adjustments with the heads as ping are selling them as standard at 46 inches this year which I think is crazy for the average golfer and I know PG builds to 45 inches for Drivers
Are they bringing out a 10k version for this model ?
I do feel that having stock shafts at 46" in the drivers is a mistake, time will tell but most amateur golfers need less length in the driver shaft not more.
Fairway woods look very nice and I am pleased they are a bit more muted than before because my G425 5w is LOUD. Definitely need a new 7w so this is going on my list
Hybrids are also good looking. I would be interesting in testing them to see if there is a better ball flight than my G410 hybrid – I do not want more distance from the hybrid just a higher launch and more controllable shot shape, sadly I think it is my technique not the club which is at fault.
I will need to see the G440 irons in person because from the video the heads look very similar to a few other irons from other manufacturers, the silver/chrome with black highlights on the back is a bit generic and I think will date very quickly. Not really an iron for me, I am not changing my i210s until the grooves wear out!, but they could be a great option for my regular playing partner
Another year, another further, better, faster, straighter. Knock knock, who is there? Its 2012,2013,2014, 2016, 2018, 2029, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 who want their claims back
Those GI type irons are looking more and more like lofted hybrids these days with the wider sole and shallow face
Best review of new club l have seen so far.New irons look like 730
