  1. Please do a PXG Mini Driver vs Taylormade BRNR Mini Driver we need to know lol especially me great video cheers from Canada

  2. I remember back in 2014 purchasing a Taylor Made SLDR Mini Driver. Very suitable for my home course that had 6 Par 4s of between 300 / 350metres, with most having water and / or bunkers at about 210 – 250 metres which made a #3 wood, about 210 metres, just too short and Driver, about 235 / 240 metres just too long and getting into trouble. Sold several years ago for next to nothing, but in VG condition, now most sell for around the same price as last season's full drivers. I also note that the current crop of Mini Drivers are bigger at around the 300cc mark whereas the SLDR was 260cc.

  3. James, when is the new Wilson staff driver being released? Can't wait to hear your reviews of itâ›łđŸ€™ great channel!!!

  4. Yes, take it with you. Play one round with it without using either driver or 3W. I think you will have an excellent result. And this will become a great option to replace both driver and 3W with one versatile club and save a boatload of money. Safe journey, play well.

  5. Looks decent. Make the crown one piece and I’m in. Waiting for any of them to release one. Looks like Titleist perhaps

  6. James, apart from mini drivers, your channel focuses on value, in your vernacular “the greatest value driver for 2025” must be the latest Mizuno available at £229-279, a major brand not DTC, cant be topped. SIM 2 new are still more expensive on one of the outlets

  7. As someone else has stated , Cleveland’s hywood would be a good cheap alternative, it’s a relatively new club ( 2024 version) and can be used from deck and tee, especially the 17 degree version if you swing a bit faster, can be picked up for £140 now , no adjustment would be only negative, but for the money it’s an easy to hit club

  8. Really nice looking head, great products but still just need that little bit more refinement to justify the prices.

  9. As a leftie, trying clubs has been tricky and as I have ball speed but am quite erratic, a mini driver seemed a good bet. I bought the Taylor made mini AND the ai smoke mini but my frustration was not being able to custom fit/ even change shaft. THATS where pxg will do great with this and will go in to get one asap!

  10. Played for many years and used all the major brands, eventually bought full PXG and I can only say from my experiences, there gear is top notch ,won’t be swooping anytime soon
    Highly recommended

  11. Had an opportunity last week to demo the PXG Secret Weapon (mini driver), all I can say is it is the real deal. I currently hit the newer TaylorMade mini and I am seriously considering changing to the Black Ops Secret Weapon. Very good control and good distance. I may have to demo it one more time before I pull the trigger being I have been hitting my TaylorMade mini pretty good lately.

  12. I am huge PXG fan. Love the Gen6P irons, their hybrids are wildly underrated. I have the original 0211 4h and you would have to pry that from my cold dead hands. Black jack putter is next level good. My Gen 6 driver is not the longest but I hit it laser straight and when I do miss it, I am still in play. Black ops 5w is a rocket launcher. I don't love the wedges. Not gonna lie.

That said, I cant wait to get a fitting to see what this brings to the table. I currently have the 13deg TM mini 300. It will be fun to put them side by side on trackman.

I am also excited to get my 8th grade daughter fitted for this because the length and custom weight options my solve a driver fit issue that we have been fighting for a while. She is not a huge kid but creates adequate speed and finds the middle of the clubface most of the time. This could be huge for her!

  13. I’m not sure I could put a club in my bag called ‘black ops’. It’s so stupid!

  14. Great review as always…I have a fitting next week for the mini driver. My 0311 P irons have been phenomenal…expect nothing but the best with PXG!

  15. Great to see them progress , I have a Gen 6 driver and 0371T irons in my bag, looks a great driver/3wood replacement ❀

  16. I’ve got one on order! Not to replace my driver but for tighter par 4s and long par 5s. I am a DECADE instructor so always believe is sending it as far as possible. So having a mini driver as the next club down from driver is perfect!

  17. I kept getting distracted by how many vapor trails from planes that there was… 😂😂

  18. Omg, “secret weapon”
..of all the dumb stuff you can call the 2 wood!

That name sucks. I literally wouldn’t buy it cause of that. Sounds like a club you’d buy at Walmart.
I have a TM BRNR and love it. Love the “mini” aka 2 wood.
Why doesn’t a manufacturer just put the number 2 on a 2 wood?
    Why all the goofy names?
At least TM’s last mini they call it the BRNR and don’t have some stupid kidzy Walmart sounding name on theirs.
