Cap, this dude is full of BS. I would like to see him leave his contract this off-season. I would prefer it. Miami already expresses what their decision is. Butler and Shams are the only ones making noise. Like i said before ride this bs out until the end of the season and let him walk at the end of the season. No reason to take on others baggage or help butler extend his career with a max contract. If he enters free agency no team will sign him with a max contract imo.
I always figured Butler was the second coming of UD, I was sadly mistaken. Let the young kids play and use the latter half of the season to plan next season's rotations

Pat told Jimmy and Tyler like it was….the younger one (who by the way was called "fragile"), is playing the best season of his life. While Jimmy (who needa the Heat more than they need him esp. if he plans to now opt-in for a sign and trade), has been an entitled diva. Very disappointing. Only once did we hear about Jimmy putting pressure on the organisation for help and they got exactly who HE wanted😅 His friend (grossly overpaid) Lowry.
Teams need to show they are bigger than any player and this is the perfect example. This is business and he is under contract to play for the team not to be a cry baby.

What IF… Horst talks to Jimmy and tells him come to Milwaukee for the season. You get to play with Dame who you wanted in Miami, and a chance at a title. Then after this season you have the flexibility to decide if you want to stay or go, but either way sign an extension, and if you sign a 1 yr extension we will trade you to Phoenix where you wanted to be, and we'll take back Bradley Beal

After all that has went on haslem and spo yelling at Jimmy during a televised game pat Riley's comments during the exit interview it's easy to see why Jimmy wants out. The heat need to do right by Jimmy once and trade him since they don't appreciate him.
Heat need to be all in w/ the young core, let Jimmy walk & open up cap space. We have a nice young core w/ Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr, Nikola Jovic, Bam Adebayo & Ke'lel Ware… that's a nice starting lineup & would be a bigger line up than we've had in yeaaaaaarrrrrssss. Then you got Terry Rozier, Alec Burks, Duncan Robinson, Haywood Highsmith & Kevin Love off the bench. Legit 10-man rotation! I don't think we would go deep in the playoffs but that's a top 5-6 team in the East.

Riley seems like a guy who doesn’t tolerate “back talk” or questioning his authority! That’s…stupid and the old way of thinking. These are all men who have a say in where they want to work and be paid. Jimmy can’t tell Pat how to run his organization but he definitely can be the decision maker on if he wants to be a part of it. Rightly so.
