TGL’s second night got off to an electric start when Tiger Woods made a smoke-machine-aided entrance to “Eye of the Tiger,” but the simulator league had some struggles as Los Angeles Golf Club crushed Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club 12-1.

While Woods was the headliner of the night, his teammates — Kevin Kisner and Max Homa — stole the show. Homa, unsurprisingly, was the most entertaining of the six golfers as his self- and team-depreciation led to some funny hot-mic moments.

Homa’s commentary was the best part of TGL’s second match until Kisner bladed a bunker shot that almost cut the flagstick in half, leaving Woods doubled over laughing.

Yep, Tour pros are just like us. Well, sometimes.

Kisner then proceeded to nearly jar the ensuing 57-foot pitch shot to save par.

“I’m still hurting I’m laughing so hard,” Woods said on the broadcast in the aftermath of Kisner’s skull. “I didn’t think anyone could get hurt out here. It almost cleared the stands. It was rising, oh my God.”

Homa, who was behind the struggling Kisner in Jupiter’s lineup Tuesday, zinged Kisner before hitting his final shot of the evening.

As noted above, Homa was the bright spot for TGL on its second night.

With Jupiter getting drubbed and Kisner spending most of his time blasting the ball into hazards, Homa spent his night showing why he is a perfect choice for a league that is going to rely on players showing their personalities.

“Tom Kim can you please fly out here?” — Max Homa after Kisner blew another one into the penalty area.

Homa has unsurprisingly been the bright spot of a TGL Night 2

Kisner also had his moments on the mic, including trying to go to the bullpen for relief from Tiger’s son, Charlie Woods.

The second night of TGL had its flaws. That’s normal for any start-up.

But Kisner’s bunker skull and Homa’s commentary show what the product can become: fun and unserious golf entertainment.

That’s the blueprint for TGL.
