As long as there isn’t government interference.
I don’t want us to get banned from the Euros.
Sky ruined football fact, anyone old enough will tell you that 💯
The PL need to take back control of the TV rights to their own product. Make their own PL TV channel or streaming platform. Could charge £19.99 a month and every supporter can watch their own team play every week & for the love of god get rid of the 3pm blackout. No it will not impact match day fans & lower leagues
Snake eyes… all about 6 clubs! Talking some bollocks about competitive balance. Villa. Newcastle forest and others don't have a sustainability issue. The votes should need to be all shareholders agree.. voting a minority out is easy.
One of the last great industries of the UK…. no wonder they want to regulate it. Classic European mindset!
Next up we'll be asking turkeys what they think of christmas
Nepo baby
What a hack piece. Premier League are not an independent regulator and Masters knows this better than anyone. I wonder why the Premier League and Sky Sports would want to come together to put this out? 🤔
No the premier league doesn't need one but PGMOL does the dodgey refereeing for the last few seasons has been getting beyond a joke
Of course they do …look at Leicester getting off with ffp due to a loop hole in the system …other teams within the league getting smashed within for building stadiums or clubs buying players just to try and stay in the league …
The league is directors to the so-called top 6 and they blatantly get looked after …
The most corrupt footy league in the world
That was lot of b s
If Premier League has any integrity, they will strip 115FC of all their titles and relegate them to the National League. Any punishment less than what Juventus got, will be an embarrassment to football.
Great puff piece completely avoiding why an independant regulator is needed.
Stick to the day job Jack and fix the shambles at West Ham atm
You're a corrupt man protecting your so called 6 ,😡🤬
If this socialist Government starts interfering in football it’s the end for football.
Masters is a joke, cherry picked by cartel clubs, 3 reds + Spurs. PSR is anti-competitive, they are ruining the PL. American takeover. anti-competitive rules. They set up PSR to protect the established top clubs from competition, but now the likes of Man Utd are struggling with it, expect changes and miraculous exceptions to let them spend. 23-24 saw them get a 35m share injection + 40m Covid exception so they didn't fail. Noone else got that.
Yes we do need independent regulators because the PL cannot self govern without blatant bias.
Whilst PSR is revenue based and doesn't account for debt, it will never be truly competitive. The blatant cartel bias and allowing Americans to takeover the PL. I think it needs to be anchored to the broadcasting revenue of the bottom club. That way all clubs have the same. Owners should be allowed an annual investment of the same value. Money can also be put into escrow to protect clubs. Players should be paying their own agent fees not clubs.
How can clubs aspire whilst it is based on individual revenue, they cannot. How are the likes of Chelsea getting hotel sales, sales of the women's team, etc allowed, Whilst other cannot get sponsors over the line or are forced to sell players on the cheap? The fact that PSR is forcing clubs to put the prices up on tickets, force academy sales and crippling clubs that don't have the revenue to go out and buy players against clubs that over indulge again and again and seem to live outside the rules, shows how much PSR fails clubs.
Masters and his predecessor have always been a mere puppet for the corrupt big 6 cartel. Independent regulation isn't just needed, it's a must – take power away from these plastic, corrupt clubs and give them the same power as the other member clubs.
