MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The 10th annual Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship will be held from Feb. 28 to March 2 at TPC Myrtle Beach with young rising stars participating in the tournament.

According to Dylan Hoffman, Tournament Manager, Charlie Woods, the 15-year-old son of 15-time major champion, Tiger Woods will be competing in the championship.

The 54-hole tournament will feature 31 top 50 junior golfers, 19 boys and 11 girls, according to a press release from TPC Myrtle Beach.

The tournament is said to feature several of America’s best, but Woods is expected to be the rising star attracting much of the attention during the event.

The nine-year-old tournament has seen three past champions rise to the game’s highest levels on various tours.

The participating junior golfers are given the chance to test themselves against outstanding competition.
