I mean he was up 6-0 and got the ball at the +35 and decided to roll right and throw the ball 40 yards across the field. Guess that wasn’t his fault either
Herbert never faced a defense of this caliber all year. The Texans defense controlled the line of scrimmage, pressured Herbert at the highest rate he faced all season, and the DBs capitalized off bad passes and tipped or dropped passes. This was the #1 defense, but realistically those stats were inflated by a weaker strength of schedule. The Texans were the more talented defense out there and their playmakers stepped up and made plays.

C'mon Julian, enough with the excuses for Herbert. The Chargers were the favorite to win this game, but based on how you're talking you would think they were big underdogs. Granted the Chargers offensive was terrible all around , but you're blaming everyone else except for Herbert and he deserves a lot criticism. Admit it he had a horrible game! He has been given a free pass for too long, and for being considered "an Elite quarterback", that performance was not acceptable and you shouldn't act like it is..
