I don’t play anymore bc you have to have friends to play
70 mph on this hog 😂 that Canadian dude was pretty cool
2:26 😂😂😂
Yes Trev! I showed a buddy your YouTube and you’ve spark my interest again. I’m pushing 60, and I have started watching highlights again, and in a few years I’ll retire for the second time, and be a season ticket holder to the Toledo MudHens. You’ve been blessed to be awkward in a good way. GREAT CONTENT! Well done!
I just started watching baseball because of my kids playing little league 😂
Cost is another big reason fans don’t show. The garbage of bat flipping and all the other disrespectful things done is also a downer. MLB player make more money in signing bonuses the most citizens will in a lifetime, yet they show off in The most disrespectful way. It’s AMERICAS pass time, you know, to PASS THE TIME and be entertained by hard nosed, respectful young men. As a kid I was a Tigers fan and A REDS fan, and been to the d Tigers stadium and River Front stadiums, all at a discount through little league. Little league has been dying off. Now they’ve restrict not only pitch counts but limit the game to a set time. Total garbage so a lazy parent can drop their kid off and come back from the baby sitters aka little league coaches.
Trevor casually dropping the fact he played in that World Series and the worker not caring is crazy
If you’re looking to get new people into baseball, why would you look at adults instead of children?
What the first guy said is the absolute TRUTH that most of us may not want to adnit. As a kid when that hardball hits you gppd at around 12 years old you didnt uet develope that moxy you need to suceed and the fear of being hit i believe drops out a ton of kids rather than the skill the player may have, Physiological effect takes over i hit a rocket back to pitcher who was a good friend of mine and opened up his face, He needed reconstructive surgery and i was done the following year and i was a good ball player. It was a very gory scene. Prob more dramatic than most but thats what stopped me.
The views were down cause it was the Rangers and Dbacks bro if it’s the Astros and someone else it goes up it’s just facts
I still love baseball and appreciate how much hand eye coordination and skill it takes to play well. Makes me sad to see what's happening to the game.
@trevor bauer I’ll play catch with you! 🙂
“Baseball is dying” and a headline about 2.8 million more fans going to games. It’s certainly less popular, but I would t say dying. The only reason the viewership of the World Series was down is because it was two small market teams. I’m a Rangers fan and it was huge here.
As a person who loves baseball, watches plenty on youtube, coaches, BUT rarely watched baseball, I will say this. One thing baseball could do to help baseball would be to get back on regular channels. It's so annoying to have to buy and extra subscription to Bally Sports to watch the Rays home games, then need MLB tv or whatever to watch away games. I love baseball and would happily watch if it was on Fox/ESPN/etc, but the games on there are few and far between and I have to try and track down my team and it kills the vibes.
Also, never trust people who don't like ham and pineapple pizza, it's clearly the best
I used to not like baseball but my best friend and me played baseball and I liked it, I got a glove and I play with him all the time
Edit: he played baseball before i did
The kids today are to wrapped up in themselves to enjoy this wonderful sport.
It takes years to truly understand this game.
It's the theory of a thousand angles.
This warms my heart🥲 making people happy by playing catch and seeing people smile changes my
Today! Great work, Trevor
As a cubs fan I am really sorry and thought that you weren’t very hard to hit but now that I see it from a pitchers point of view I fall in love with pitching because of uou
I wish we could play catch. I have no one to here play with because Philippines is a basketball country. It sucks.
trevor. I have 4 kids. they all love watching/playing baseball and softball. don't give up, there's still fans out there.
Why did the video just end 😂😂
who knew we'd be so lucky to enjoy our free time watching Trevor's life and side quests.
Baseball
👇
I was just about to ask why you (Trevor) didn't ask any women and then the last person (a woman) came up. We love baseball too. I would kill for Trevor to come to Denver! We have the altitude that you have in Mexico and we NEED pitching. Anyways, love your channel and wish you all the best.
It blows my mind that an MLB pitcher can walk around a freaking tennis court full of people that don't seem bothered one bit by an opportunity a lot of people would've payed money for just a few years ago..
If he would have bought the kids equipment to play the next season, that would have just topped it off nicely!
"That glove is for you"
"For what?"
haha
Man between you and Eric, you guys have made baseball interesting for the young guns. Hell even reintroduced it to me. After not playing for 20 years I’m ordering my glove.
Living in Australia where there is NO baseball but I love it is so good
14:53 the math ain’t mathing 😂
Where tf does one watch pickleball ? 😂
I recently took my family to a Rangers game. It was my son’s (7), and my daughter’s (2) first Major League Baseball game. It was my oldest daughter’s (9) third game. It was our first game since the pitch clock. We spent around $1k, when you add the cost of tickets, gas, hotel, food, etc. I expected to spend a lot of money, but it was worth giving my son, who is into all things baseball and who got to experience the Rangers’ first World Series with me, a life long fan. The pitch clock killed our entire experience. We made strategic concessions trips to try not to miss too much of the action, but the game flew by. The whole experience was rushed and it was very difficult to watch the game. Such a disappointment.
I Love the idea of the video
You just ended the video there at the most interesting interaction? Also, I HOPE you did something for that mom above and beyond giving her a glove. She's driving Uber, with all her kids in tow, and couldn't afford to put her kids in baseball which is honestly one of the cheapest sports. That's a family in need right there, but doing what it takes, and she STILL took time out of her day to talk to you about baseball.
MLB: “Trevor Bauer is a terrible person and a dark spot on the history and reputation of this league”
Trevor:”hey mlb that’s cool you’re lying anyways imma just be over here growing the game better than you ever could”
That game in the arcade I played it it’s not good😂
Good thing that the Dominos guy declined, so he met the family.
Glenn was such a good dude 🥲
When I was a kid, I walked around with a glove and a ball. My friends and I also threw the ball constantly, and if the ball wasn’t available, we would throw rocks.
shocks me that not even the admitted baseball fans recognized him. i'm a fan of the minnesota vikings but could still pick out t.bauer somewhere in the middle of paris france
He was very controversial and I admit I was out of the loop for a while so I didn’t know much. The more I see him, the more I want him back (in Texas). MLB needs guys like him. He’s either really trying to grow the game or he’s damn good at faking it.
Great, I loved this!
Momentum single handedly turned me to a avid baseball fan, never played a day in my life but just yesterday I just bought my first glove and ball to play with my nephews and nieces, hoping to get them into baseball early so I can have some lil companions at games 😭😂
Trevor you’re a savage for telling the fans to keep booing you!😂😂😂😂
This is one of my favorite videos you've done so far. Well done stepping outside of your comfort zone to share your love of baseball!
you are a genius. no one else in the baseball universe does what you do for the game of baseball. a messiah of baseball. I am one of those parents that never played baseball and my son has taken an addiction to the sport. he literally will go out of his way to start a game of catch with anyone anywhere. he carries multiple gloves and ball in his backpack everywhere he goes.
I am a new fan. This was a great video. I am 65 and I grew up living, breathing and eating baseball. I was a Yankee fan until Mickey Mantle retired. I then switched to the Mets. It was 1969 and my teacher was a Mets fan. I was the teachers pet. I always dreamt of having sons and getting them in to baseball. As it turned out I hd three girls. They played soccer. I coached my oldest daughter when she was about 8. Most of the kids had no clue how to play. They were bored with standing around in the field. Me and the other coach stuck it out. The final game we finally had a girl catch a pop up. My daughter caught two that day. I trie but it didn’t work. Two of the three played soccer and the third girl had no interest in sports. I have grandchildren now. 3 of 4 are girls. My only grandson is 18 months old. I will try to get him into baseball. Good luck to you!
Need to bring back games like pepper and over the line. Only need a few people and it’s so fun
I think that one of the main reasons a lot of people don’t play baseball is the fact that in order to create a “pro-like” game, you need so many more people. The thing about pickleball, and basketball, is that you can play a legit game with 2 people. I’m not saying that you can’t do live ABs, but it’s just not the same
