Finally…. Somebody asking the right questions regarding mini drivers. Is this a better option for somebody who’s only carrying a 3 wood due to not being able to keep the driver on the planet.

Maybe I pulled the trigger too soon. I went for the adjustable Takomo 3 wood (15 degrees, plus or minus 2 degrees of adjustability). I can't seem to keep my driver on the golf course. Mini driver might be something to consider.
At $499 for a mini driver in the US they can keep them.
I put the tayloymade Brnr in the bag and pulled my driver and 3 wood. I score better from the short grass . I understand the ego that keeps the std driver in the bag, however scoring is more important to me.
Way to expensive, and the point of a Mini driver is they are a mini driver, thats a fairway plus rather than mini driver and theres absolutely no issues with hitting the TM brnr off the deck its an absolute weapon off the fairway, out the rough because of the head size, I love PXG stuff and Im playing blackops tour but this just seems pointless especially given the price point i would never bin the TM for this. Particularly given you can pick up the brnr for 220-250 on ebay, spurce a Velocore shaft on there as well for 130 and £100 cheaper with far superior shaft
To hit it off the turf set at 14.5 and heaviest weight to the back, what would your swing speed have to be to hit it off the turf
save your money and get a 2 wood, my 13 degree v steel was £20 😀
