ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

  1. I like the video because its good to know that when there is a bunker at 300 yds and I am trying to rip it over that my shot is Xander Schauffele approved

  2. it’s comforting for a regular height player to see that there is a way to hack the swing and put up with bigger levers,😂. One less variable to worry about.

  3. Great combo of two genuinely nice guys, one who loves what he does and knows what to ask, and the other an elite pro who can articulate his process.

Tremendously helpful and enjoyable to watch. Thanks to both!

  4. Great tips, especially when he references what works for him based on his body type. Similar to when you provide instructions for seniors, etc. I’m glad to see more pros talk about the heel lift. Countless times I’ve been told to leave it planted but to me it feels more natural and I’m going to refer people over to this video every time it comes up. I’m not hitting 300+, but that’s why I’m here looking for any sane advice. Thanks for these posts Danny!

  5. I’m still learning how to get a consistent straight driver swing and these tips will definitely be on my list to check out on my next practice

  6. Always so interesting so hear what a pro is thinking, how they analyze their own swing. They play so differently than me so it's ready to imagine they are greatly different. But in the end they also have doubts and swing flaw tenancies (which I would gladly trade). This kind of video humanizes the Pro. Xander just seems like a regular guy – would love to get to know him.

  7. Xander is someone most can relate with and with Danny's easygoing way this was an absolute pleasure to watch

  8. I like the tip, if you play the ball extra forward, raise the lead shoulder higher at address. Gonna give that a try. Plus, I’m about his height. It’s fun to see someone of that stature bomb drives. It keeps me hopeful. 😊

  9. Love the simplicity of Xander and how Danny goes through the process of getting information for us without being invasive. Thank you both.

  10. Excellent video. Love your teaching style Danny. It was great to hear from Xander and get the tips! Really appreciate it!

  11. I loved to know shorter guys with these tips can hit bombs too. Definitely using the shoulder technique.

  12. What is so remarkable about this video is that Xander is not holding anything back with his technique. Thank you, Danny, for this awesome video. Not only is this a great training video, but it also taught me how to become a better person. Again, thank you.

  13. Love the tip about lifting up your lead shoulder a little bit higher on set up if you want to hit up to launch it farther. I’m gonna give that a try.

  14. Amazing insights into technique and commitment as always Danny. I see it Takes a 2 time major champion to outdrive you!

  15. Thanks Danny and Xander for this video. As someone who struggles with driver, this video provides some simple thoughts to try and get more consistent. I am a big perpetrator of the reverse K so will try a bit of a shoulder lift.

  16. Great session with Xander, who imparted his swing thoughts on a really straightforward and knowledgeable manner. Particularly liked his allignment process and also the importance of keepinghis left shoulder square. Superb, thank you Danny.

  17. Love how Xander seems to be such a down to earth guy, easily one of my top 10 golfers of all the active today.

  18. The reverse k…. I haven't taken my driver out of my bag since I can't seem to keep it from snapping right… I believe I just had that "ahhh ha" moment where I realized what I was doing wrong.

  19. Good stuff!! I've seen Xander on a few YouTube channels now and he seems like such a down to earth guy. Really good combo here with him and Danny – someone who can explain the mechanics in a way I personally learn well from! Thanks for this collab!!

  20. This is great, getting tips from a champion who is offering options to stance and approach is invaluable. Thanks Danny!
