I just manifested a dream to play for fun in that stadium one day! Full swing: I will definitely purchase your simulator and sync it up with your virtual green product in my basement one day.
Epic video! Can't wait to check out TGL tomorrow.
Here we go!
this is actually super cool!
This is awesome! Will the players be able to use their own balls? And what is the stimp reading on the greens?
How much to rent the facility for a bunch of the bros?
I wasn't sure about this when I first heard about it, but now that it's here and seeing the setup, I'm super excited to watch!
The tech is really awesome, hope it does well and I'm be watching tomorrow.
PGA is desperate.
Such an awesome way to play and challenge yourself. I love playing put put golf and we used to golf through the house. Never thought to see this clever creativity in my lifetime. Come one and all…and have a ball. Great video.
Awesome equipments and set ups!! Just that I think if a player hits the ball, the ball on the screen should go simultaneously instead of lagging behind a tiny second, providing a more visual instinct effect.
For simulator golf this goes all out. Its cool because it brings a stadium like sport which is most sports to the golf scene. I bet that the shots are actually very accurate simulations because of how many cameras are tracking just one ball. Awesome tech stuff
I like how 🐅 has every liberty to say or contribute whatever he wants to this video but he's in championship mode even when testing facilities.
Great…!? Another virtual AI superbot artificial reality….for who? Who is the target audiance? Here’s a thought….stop eating twinkies on the couch and get out and play a real 18 holes…it’s nice….many armchair golfers wouldn’t make 9 holes walking let alone 18…all this is doing is to get more sales of the $600 full swing range machine. Sad how golf is going down this ai autobit route….whats next…? An ai super sex golf robot assistant where after 18 holes you can play her back nine without permission. How about improving real golf….now there is a thiught. Please whaterver this clown show becomes….please please don’t let Trump or Musk get invovled.
skins game 2.0, different,? yes. better? doubt it
zzzzz
Can’t wait 🙌🏼⛳️
Fail
No lip on the bunker. Amateurs.
Amazing!
I wasnt sure about the TGL initially but this just looks fuckin sick, amazing job!
This would be cool to go play on but incredibly boring to watch someone else play.
I want this in my house 🏡 please 🏌🏿♂️
I hope this new golf league works out, if not, there is the pga tour.
Cool 😎
the ball physics when the ball is on the ground seem strange. the viewing angle seems to be hard to tell how a ball is interacting with slopes and breaks. no wonder the short game is done in stadium
Has serious potential, not just the golf, but player, team, and fan interaction could be steps above the norm. Looking forward to MAYBE seeing more insight into player decisions and maybe even some Chirps between players
This is going to be bigger than traditional golf.
The beginning of the end of real courses!
I’m so looking forward to see this take off ! Revolutionary idea I’m sure it’ll work……….. F1 should be looking at this idea in terms of short races, mixing the drivers up into teams ……… so much potential for Pro’s and for golf clubs worldwide ! We’ll done guys for bringing this to the masses 👏🏽
What about wind?
Epic!
Golf getting more boring didn't think it could good job
It's like playstation golf but with club's….will be interesting to see how it catches on.
I absolutely love this whole competition, I think it’s going to be incredible.
My only gripe… I think it would be miles better if the view on the massive screen didn’t follow the ball. It would look way better if the player hit into the screen and the ball just carried on in the digital world in a realistic view.
If you’re really set on doing that ball follow view then use it for replays or show it on a screen at the side. You could even have a green side view on one of the side screens as well to replicate the feeling of standing by a green at a tournament.
To me the ball following view cheapens the look of the experience. The best in person experience I’ve ever had at a golf tournament is really high level amateur golf, the Walker Cup for example, because you get to see top players’ ball flights from close up on every shot. Very few people can see that at a pro event because of the crowds and the cameras etc behind the tees, and the fact you are stuck behind the ropes for approach shots. The TGL has the massive advantage of everybody being able to see the ball flight on a super realistic, massive screen and on television in a way that 99.9% of people just can’t experience normally.
Some craic with a shank!
The trouble with this is – whilst it might broaden the appeal of golf to a wider audience – I can’t really see how they’re going to allow this new format of golf to be played by fans. What happens when you love a sport? You want to get involved with the sport. I don’t see how they’re going to bring this tech heavy, extremely complicated set up to the masses.
the new design opportunities for the greens is a great point. no drainage or mowing to worry about! could make some really interesting designs and some really interesting putts
I mean it's absurd and stupid and I love it.
Nobody actually thinks this is going to be successful right?
If The Match(es) have proven anything is the PGA pros aren't terribly fun to watch outside the ropes in exhibitions. That's all these are is exhibitions. They aren't even going to swear or talk shit.
Tiger is the big name here but he's just about the worst in things like these. He's not terribly witty and he's awful at talking shit (which you can't even do here). None of the other pros are terribly fun in scenarios like this.
This might make it to 2026 in hopes to make some money back. But it will end at that point obviously, if not after season 1
