Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were not very flashy running QB's . They just delivered the ball accurately. Face it, Allen , Hurts and Lamar wont amount to much without a Championship other than stats. If Goff ever wins one then what ?
Goff is not only a great player but he represents Detroit. He's more than he seems and so is Detroit. That's part of why they chant his name, because he's more than just a name to this city.
All that matters is we love Jared Goff! Jar-ed Goff!! His team loves him, his coaches love him and I’m quite sure Sheila loves him too! Us Lions fans were used to players coming here to end their careers, getting what money they could get. Now, everyone is on the bandwagon. How inspiring it is to see and hear all the fans fill away stadiums
Pro athletes all come into their own at a different pace BUT team culture is what makes it happen. Mr. Goff is on the right team, at the right time, at the right age with the right culture. He's a great QB and will be remembered and respected as one. Go ahead, underestimate him and see how that goes.
