All the bigger manufacturers are claiming a new thinner face, resulting in faster ball speeds but it's all crap. In essence the face thickness is governed by the laws in golf. It cannot be thinner than a certain number because if it doesn't conform, it becomes illegal to use in competition. Cast your minds back to a year or so ago with Rory and his Stealth that just about conformed. So my view is it's all hype from the bigger manufacturers to sell the newest model. We all know the Taylormade claims and now Callaway have jumped on to that bandwagon
I think these look amazing, love the face and crown on TD, Callaway killed it this year w the Elyte irons and woods, think it’s there best line in 5 years

I love Callaway but think manufacturers that do the 2 year cycle are a much easier sell! And that’s a stretch! These drivers do not improve leaps and bounds from 1 year to the next!! Probably not even in a 2 year cycle! I just can’t be bothered changing drivers every few years thinking I’m going to shave significant strokes from my game!! Just a thought. The discretionary income just isn’t there!! I have a family to support with kids in college for crying out loud!!!

Got off the now $600 plus driver train awhile ago. Being said, the Smoke seems just as good and arouns $250 dollars cheaper. No brainer
The hideous weight system on the back is rough. And the open screw holes? Yikes.
Come to think of it.. you could add an extra weight to those drivers on either the draw side or fade side and also keep the center weight and see what that will do to the driver

In 2003 the COR limit of 0.83 was universally introduced to limit all drivers ever since…… that’s why all the tweaks each year are superficial and pretty much meaningless.
Terrible another con, most people or should I say golf snobs will definitely buy this, how can you bring out a driver every year, is ridiculous, I thought the paradigm was awful, I hit my taylormade M2 2016 further by 15 to 20 yards, this etyte is just a reinvention of the Callaway epic, I'll stick them my driver and just wait for people to bin them for the next years model 😂
I want to tell you one thing. I might be nasty but this is the truth. All these podcasters if they don't release any new equipment they have no podcast so they get excited when they get all these new equipment. They're all the same year after year long or straighter further come on it's all cosmetic
