Saban sec homer
The seeding and matchups were completely asinine. That has to change before next year. Oregon and OSU playing each other while PSU got beat by both and played SMU and Boise. Then you have UGA potentially having to beat Texas 3 times. None of the seeding made sense.
CFP has a real problem here. The only person defending that call is the CFP commish (or whatever his title is). IF they are going to maintain any credibility they have to come out and issue an apology to ASU and say something to the effect of "we are looking into how to address this with better training, etc. because that can't happen at this stage." Ultimately if UT had made their kick this woulda been a way worse travesty. I'm an ASU fan and at least the devils got a chance to still win it…but it is unfortunate that kinda call happens when ASU's top DB sat the whole first half for a similar style targeting call.
So the targeting no-call was a no-call for Pat's ESPN Channel? Trash
McAffee you are a big mouth. You never accomplished chit you are why I stopped watching game day. Go away!
Espn don’t want anyone discussing that they were in refs ear during review. They made the call just like they brokered the deal to get texas and ou to the sec 4 years ago. And then use clickbait this. I would love to know if saben has the integrity i have always thought he had to call it an obvious targeting call with his paycheck at stake.
He's right about talking to the kicker, I thought oh my gosh that guy's going to miss now
Bull💩 video. Stop misleading everyone
Nick Saban was the best plantation Boss. He kept those field hands in check.
Kicker: Oh GOD. Saban is TALKING to me. 😨
7:30 If… If and but's were nuts and candy wouldn't this be a Merry Christmas. If he makes it then what are we talking about? Greatest pep talk ever…
I loved Sark’s intimate pep talk w/ his kicker. Nothing wrong with telling a kid you’re proud of him and u love him no matter what happens as a result of this kick (which is what I as a father and a coach imagine is what Sark was saying).
Def don’t want to mess w/ the kid’s prep/routine. That said, we’re all human. It was an intense/emotional moment, and Sark did what he thought was best. That’s how I want to win/lose.
Had to tune out. Great coverage until quickly moved on not discussing the targeting no call. This is a serious issue with the officiating in college football. That should have been enforced without fail. The bonehead officiating crew was from the big ten and clearly a biased crew covering big ten and the sec just bypassing the importance of what they had advertised. I despise click bait.🤬
I wonder if Saban doesn't have Parkinsons disease as you watch him he is shaking all the time.
Poor Alabama – nothing now that Nick Saban is no longer there.
Prime example of misinformation and out right lying by the media. BSPN at their best.
The NO CALL for TARGETING for Texas WHEN IN COMPLETE DEFINITION OF TARGETING SHOWS NOTHING MORE THAN NCAA IS FIXED & RIDICULOUS. THEY’RE SHOULD NEVER BE A FLAG THROWN AGAIN FOR TARGETING. FIXED THE GAME PERIOD
Click Bait, Dislikes are almost as high as likes. Espn is in big trouble!
Turns out Shane Gillis was right about Saban and the SEC about buying players before the NIL deal huh.
Well they did not discuss no call but McAfee talked about it and Saban shook his head in agreement! Otherwise this is one of the best segments I have ever heard on any sports talk show!!! Coach Saban keeps Mc-on-track 👍
Who cares about a coach from a program that has been paying players for years, and then complains about the atmosphere CFB is in now.
Idk I'm not a fan of texas or asu but if you go back to the earlier call where the texas reciever was in the air defenseless and got rocked his head snapped back and hit the ground which is what the rule is supposed to prevent. Dude launched at the reciever as well didn't directly hit him in the head more like the throat but the way dudes head snapped back that was targeting and why the rule was invented to prevent head injuries. The next one where the asu reciever caught the pass and it was helmet to helmet the texas back just closed in but didn't launch and the recievers head didn't snap back or hit the ground. There's not much you can do as a defender just wrapping up and making a good tackle. Thing is it ended up evening out and going to overtime and texas won.
Nick has to dumb it down for these high-school knuckle heads he should do his own show and quit messing wh these 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
no targeting talk because its a useless argument and has no leg to stand on. period period
Any helmet to helmet contact should be targeting call. Because no matter if it’s the top or side of helmet it’s the same impact. Logic would tell you whether you hit a nail with any top bottom or side of a hammer you can still get that nail in. Let’s be real they want to give Texas the best odds of winning. If they give asu that call and they kick field goal game over. If Texas needed that call they would have call it. This is why we need ai referee
Same as 90% of them even it covers what they it’s 15 minutes into the video so I click if it’s not what they say right off the bat I click off. They are becoming longer and longer with mostly B S instead of information. Takes the joy out of watching them
If I knew Carson Beck was not going to play for UGA, I would have picked ND to win hands down.
Lavk of targeting call proves college wanted big brand UT in thd final four
Limit non graduate transfers to one per two years of eligibility. Limit total eligibility to 6 years (no redshirt gains). Cap NIL at a per player level (50k per year of eligibility). Eliminate FCS v FBS matchups. All teams play a minimum of 9 conference games. All p4 v G5 games will be played at G5 schools. All of this will bring positive changes to CFB and increase the level of competition as well as the importance of regular season games.
Lie in headlines
Sick of the regurgitation of Bama great moments…….can we talk about the teams now without a Bama story?
Espn is the worst. I am cancelling my subscription to ESPN now. They don't hold up college sports. They don't support the rules. and they lie about they are going to talk about!
ESPN SUCKS
Clickbait title!
I’m done with your videos.
Dishonest, title.
Headline is the main reason I give Pat McAfee zero creds for knowing anything. Just another blowhard on the internet.
The title is misleading😒
Can't get away from patty wish I could
Block on utube
Targeting is whatever you want to make it! I hate the rule.
ESPN clickbait BS
In other words…..Do Your Job!
They don’t speak of the elephant in the room! Shame!
Clickbait! I won’t be back
Yesss!
When I was playing, that was a helmet sticker!
